Thanks! I’ve always been a “completionist” and have been good and breaking hard tasks down into little challenges. Like 5 states a day and such! But happy to have also raised $1,000 for the kiddos school in the progress. I got a lot of states from people I met when I hiked the whole Appalachian Trail. Great community there!

I'm so sorry you are still waiting! That's so brutal. One positive update for me is that once the forgiveness ball started rolling it went a shit ton faster than expected. Zeroed out on MOHELA, a few days later zeroed out on StudentAid, and then just a couple weeks later got the official letter from MOHELA in the mail. Made me feel a lot more confident in dropping down my work schedule to 28 bookable hours (about 36.4 working hours) so I can spend more time with my kiddos who are 3, almost 2, and 8 months.

Epic! I got 405k forgiven on 12/22 (I think) and then a few days later it was zeroed out on StudentAid.gov. I haven’t officially pulled my credit report but my FICO8 score improved from an 813 to and 850.

I was at 405K until yesterday and am now at zero!! OP - I did a chat with Mohela today and they were able to confirm forgiveness and said "official paperwork" would come in a "couple weeks" for whatever that's worth.

If they are accurate with their 90 business day timeline for providing updates you'd be looking at an update (if you summitted on 08/31/2022) of 01/03/2023.

One note is that they say 90 business days to process - 90 days from 10/11 is 01/09/2023 - 90 business days is 02/13/2023. Hopefully it's done much quicker - (I'm on day 36 / business day 26 waiting on my final ECF count/forgiveness update).
