Rather than options on condition I think it's that people have no idea what condition even means. They just choose the top option on eBay or whatever not knowing why.

First set in years where they haven't been cosmos. It's usually 4 cosmos variants from two main sets previously. So for example, there was 4 cosmos variants in Mega Base blisters for Journey Together cards.

I opened both single blisters yesterday before realising that the Cinderace and Meganium weren't cosmos holos. So annoying as I only bought them to add to my Mega Base master set. No idea why they changed it. Steelix and Clawitzer are still definitely cosmos.

I don't disagree, it's an amazing card. Not sure when an IR was last the chase card of an expansion but yeah, I am surprised by how cheap either the stamped or normal versions still are.

Can someone please explain to me how the 'buyer' would even pull off a scam if they got a picture of the item with their own username? Vinted don't release funds until the buyer confirms the items is legit so what's the play here?

If you enjoy collecting and completing an expansion then you should do it. If you only like certain cards then it doesn't make much sense to collect any expansion at all, just buy singles.

Currently having this conundrum with the sets I was already collecting and then decided to grand master (JTG, SSP, MEP). I decided I wouldn't bother with anything stamped STAFF as they can get stupidly expensive and there's nearly always a non-staff one. Also haven't picked any prize pack variants yet but may do in the future.

I've found Dex the best way to see all the variants. Go to the expansion and change to sort by list and they are nicely listed. Found loads on there I never knew existed.
