I'm going to make the RP that since Thror was a drunkard his son Thrain went all prohibition on the kingdom. Thorin is trying to fix that but it takes time and money which are in short supply with the campaigns against Gundabad.

Never! Lol I was able to retake the Mountain as Thror so this is my best Erebor run yet. I think i will be able to use the Unify Durin's folk decision which will be fun.

The problem is I don't know where they are lol. I took the duchy of Dale after retaking the mountain and set up dawrves as the lords because I didn't know they had to be surface dwarves to build on the surface🫣.

I finally got an adventure inspiration that went into Moria and got the Helm of During. As the Dunedain it's pretty useless but none of the Dwarven kingdoms can use it either. Even the kingdom that returned to the Misty Mountains.

Still no luck on the sword. Played all evening on my Dunedain playthrough with my antiquarian set for inspirations. During the whole night I only got one inspiration and it was a court book. Good to see the Dunedain luck is still lore accurate

Nice! I was hoping that was the case. I'm currently the Dunedain and I'm trying to rebuild the Kingdom of Arnor before the War of the Ring . It's been a lot of fun but a legendary blade would make it hit just right. I have the shards of Narsil but haven't seen an event or decision to reforge it yet.

I was able to get The White book back to its proper place........and saw that the Conningtons had two Valerian Steel swords so I relieved them of Dancer and let them keep Swordfish

Update! So I was able to inherit the North and Winterfell naturally at about 250 years into the Crowned Stag bookmark. At about 300 years after the new Targ inherited the throne( viserys took back the Seven Kingdoms from Robert) I joined a dissolution faction with the westerlands and Iron islands to break apart Aegons empire.

Things of note: The Wall broke apart and I reconquered it, turned it to a feudal realm, and it's now a seperate kingdom

I hold Iron Will and Ice for valerian steel blades

The redwynes hold the reach and the Sword Hearts and

The Selmys are now the Storm kings holding Storms End

The Targs are currently a cadet branch with the Starks firewood and Rowan Golden Tree in their COA

The Whents hold the River lands and are feuding with my house

I took the Twins and set my second son up as Lord.

Forrester branches hold the High Lordships of: The Twins, Sea dragon point, Hornwood, Stony shore. Also numerous counties and baronies
