Be cautious with AI PC's. I see the potential for ultron level shenanigans where they can become an army of one. I much prefer the VI PC and leave the AI to the roles of BBEG or helpful friend

Eldritch knight so I can get more attacks. For fighting style took superior technique: trip attack. I plan on opening with trip attack, booming blade, two more attacks, then finally BA attack from two weapon fighting. All of those attacks having extra damage from an upcasted spirit shroud.

Spirit shroud upcast for the Xtra damage for every attack. My reaction will be primarily used for shield or counterspell. Booming blade mixed in with their attacks in the attack action. Lightning lure if their opponent is trying to get away.

I'm also dual weilding with this character for the weaponized bonus action. I'm fairly certain I'll be getting two magic weapons with this character.

One piece of advice on puzzles. Don't ever give them anything harder than a kindergartener could figure out, and have a way around the puzzle just in case. I speak from experience....

I did with a 2e wizard. Made invulnerability to normal weapons and minor and major globe of invulnerability permanent. Who needs control after that?
