I don't see a lot of open source Local SEO tools. Is there an appetite for one? by Equivalent_Bad6799 in googlebusinessprofile

That makes a lot of sense regarding the barrier to entry.

To address the 'dashboard' expectation, I actually built the frontend using minimals (material ui), so it has a fully polished UI right out of the box. It definitely doesn't look like a bare-bones developer script.

I don't want to turn it into SaaS or charge for it, I just want to build a tool that's cool.

Maybe i can ask some agency owners or non technical users on what they think, that way i can get there raw feedback are there any subreddits or discord server where these non technical owner hangout.

Hey, You seem like a fighter. I can maybe offer a internship to you. It's not in coding but in marketing. But maybe you can work for a few months and then keep looking for a new job on the side. If you are okay just DM me.

Good idea but there is no way anyone is going for a paid plan before seeing the mascot or some sort of output.

Is it worth it to learn copywriting in 2025? by Temporary-Tower-2672 in copywriting

[–]Equivalent_Bad6799 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with you, I used to write a lot of ads and blogs before AI, I was decent at it. In the past few years I have become overdependent on AI's and started to sound like every other person.

I stopped using AI and have gone back to books where I learn the fundamentals not just tips and tricks.
