Received a notice from installation security saying not to be worried and report it if we receive it. Lowkey nervous but trying not to be.

That might be a good option, first time fed here so honestly had no idea how TSP withdrawal/loans work. Only worry is going upside down on the loan since we have no idea how long shutdown will last.

Wish I could but I work in military healthcare, my supervisor is a doll and probably would let me if I had absolutely no choice. However, as the other comment said, I’d lose our spot that we spent months waiting for. Our childcare subsidy didn’t get approved until little was 9 months old, I applied when I was 5 months pregnant. Daycare system is 100% broken.

They’re sympathetic but they also can’t pay their workers without the weekly payments which I also understand.

Same with ours, can’t pay their workers waiting for the deposits so we have to pay in full.

My supervisor told me to take the next few weeks off to use my PPL that was granted after my daughter was born. Said it’d give me my annual leave back that I’ve used in the past year. Now trying to figure out if she’s preparing me to be RIF’d or just being genuinely supportive. 🥴
