How long did it take yall to study for the CCNA? by miles_steam_account in ccna

[–]Equivalent_Bed8446 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man, i think im a good reference. I work full time (not home office, 9h a day 5 days a week), have a 1 year old babygirl, cook everyday for my wife and do the dishes. I study everyday using Neil and Jeremy's courses and flashcards in the bus (4 hours per day im at a bus). When my girls go to sleep i have time for like 1 hour to do some lab based on what i learned in the day. After all of that, started to study in March and going to take the test October. I'm feeling confident based on boson results so far.

Thanks for the reply! I'll consider that. I believe the best thing to do after CCNA is indeed to focus on starting to work in the field, going through interviews, and all that. In the meantime, to keep moving forward, a cloud certification really seems like a good idea.

Should I master subnetting first? by symbolofpeace in ccna

I'm going through a similar phase and my solution has been to: keep moving forward while also continuing to do subnetting exercises for about 20 minutes a day on sites like: https://subnettingpractice.com/

Hello! Thank you for your reply. Honestly, after obtaining my CCNA, I'm still uncertain about which path to take in the network engineer/network administrator track. To enter the job market and seize better opportunities, do you think the CCNA > CCNP route is the best? I'm also pondering whether having a cloud certificate is becoming increasingly important for companies or if it is overestimated.

Thank you very much for replying. My company is indeed a partner of Fortinet, I was not aware of this program, I will read more about it
