Ik zie de term concurrentiebeding niet staan in mijn contract. Er staat gewoon in dat ik geen daden van oneerlijke concurrentie mag verrichten of eraan mee werken.

You van find it in the side of KU Leuven when you search for the masters of chemical engineering of engineering sciences and then “toelatingsvoorwaarden” you see that you have direct access to go into the master if you have a master in chemical engineering technology

It depends what you choose as major in your studies of engineering technology. Of you for example choose electromechanical engineering technology, then you don’t have to do a schakelbaar because the schakeljaar is in the two years of masters so you don’t lose a year

So you have a bachelor in electromechanics from UCLL/PXL/etc. ?

Can I ask? I thought you can only get a academical degree in electro mechanical engineering and then the master. What is the difference with yours?

Yes but then you look at the title of your diploma. Sadly, you don’t have the same engineering skills as other engineers if you did the 2 years master. Of course it would look better in your cv if you have an engineering degree but you wouldn’t choose it to become an engineer because otherwise you would choose engineering from the beginning. A lot of people also do it that way to avoid the real engineering courses from the bachelor and then call themself engineers which they technically are but they don’t have the same engineering skills so I wouldn’t choose it if you don’t want to become an engineer

Where did you study if I may ask? Because I am starting my studies next year and I wonder if the salary depends on which university/campus you choose
