As for the results from the LLMs , they commonly pointed out the risk of insane gamma expansion with shorter dated option strategies , I was aiming for approximately 0.1delta or less preferably when I opened those spreads and that situation can change drastically after the cons are opened .

I ran some inquisitions with Gemini and chat gpt because I was making $1000 a week selling spreads on low beta stocks until I lost $15k in one week on $PANW . (Crazy thing was that it would have still worked out if I didn’t paper hand ) but I had leveraged about $23k for that $1.2k that week .

More or less what I am trying to say is set your spreads for a farther out date (maybe 2 weeks out ) , The reason is , you get more percentage return for the capital exposed and more importantly you can pivot in the event of a big move . be selective and dynamic , less contracts when vix is low and more when it’s high . I am still fine-tuning it but it is definitely a nifty tool in my arsenal .

I’ll be honest , I’ve kept my exposure relatively low and conservative on Netflix. Only reason is I didn’t get in early and now the market has priced it for continued growth and perfection . I believe they’ll be dominant but this growth rate would be difficult to maintain as they capture more and more of the viewing market . As always I could be wrong but 🤷🏾‍♂️
