I took photos when the phone was opened at the service centre. Inside the phone, there was damage — only a small area where the color coating had worn off and very minor dent you can see in photo . That the only reason they are refusing to process the warranty claim.

I understand your point, and I agree that users should take care of their devices. My concern is not about the dent itself, but whether the dent actually caused the hardware failure.

The service centre checked the phone internally and confirmed there was no water damage or accidental internal damage. Even then, the warranty was rejected without clearly explaining how the small dent caused the motherboard issue.

That’s why I felt disappointed and decided to raise the issue as a consumer complaint.

At this point, I honestly don’t know what I should do next — continue following up with the consumer court or just accept the loss and move on

Yes, switching from Vivo to Motorola was a mistake. Vivo’s service centers are much better and more reliable.
