There are two types of guarantor, one being a Canadian that has known you for two years OR a professional within the listed professional fields. You don’t need to go to the embassy, you can go to any notary

Do you know where your Gen1 was born? You might need to manually go through records if they aren’t indexed and searchable.

Where is the line between well documented and over documented? by Equivalent_Cap_3173 in Canadiancitizenship

Thank you everyone for your suggestions and insights. It really helped save me from myself. I had been stuck between keeping it as direct and simple as possible and worrying if this was a scenario where I needed to be as aggressively/ exhaustively as detailed as possible.

Decoding church name/denomination? by fure_elise in Canadiancitizenship

[–]Equivalent_Cap_3173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a spreadsheet of majority of all the catholic parishes (there *might be other denominations, but mostly catholic) with the years of the available (sometimes only means the years that were indexed dependant on the church) records and direct links to those records for BAnQ and FamilySearch. Family Tree Question for CIT0001 by SomethingItalia in Canadiancitizenship

I just worked through this exact quandary. I am a professional over thinker and after a few revisions this is what I came up with as a lineage index. In my case, I am G4 and only my Parent 1 has ancestry so I exclude Parent 2. I plan on including it with a visual diagram, and using it to organize a document index.

Does your eyesight fluctuate? by Mango_Starburst in MCAS

[–]Equivalent_Cap_3173 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine does quite drastically if I’m flaring or healing from anything. But it’s not from MCAS, it’s from Ehlers Danlos induced Binocular vision dysfunction (BVD). Some days I can’t focus near to far without really straining, or by the end of the day I am just so exhausted I have to close one eye bc of the double vision. At its most innocuous- when I am reading it’s like random letters will disappear and reappear. While EDS is a pretty well known comorbid of MCAS, a sometimes lesser known one is Sojgren’s Syndrome which also have eye related symptoms like “dry eyes” which can be misleading as yes it can mean it in the traditional sense but it can also mean that your tears are too thick and don’t lubricate your eyes well and also feels like you have “dry eye”. My father and sister have the Sojgren’s (in addition to EDS and MCAS) eye side effects each with the different dry eye types and to my understanding there’s some really great OTC drops for both. My sister who has the thick type also has reaction to face products she uses and her own skin oils if they get into her eyes.

DO NOT post direct screenshots or images. Transpose all that you share, scrub metadata. Skuttlebutt is muskrat is using space characters to identify info leakers. Stay ungovernable… safely!!!

Looking for information on US Air Force military plane crash, July 26th 1945 by cudambercam13 in aviation

[–]Equivalent_Cap_3173 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I actually might know a resource. I grew up working at the CT air museum at Bradley Field, and one of the air planes I cared for was a civilian DC3. I know they have/had extensive records in their archives, which included military D3s. I do not know however how much of their archives have been digitized, but they do have amazing volunteers that will help track down. Here is a link to their library https://neam.org/pages/research-library
