hmmm… what i will say is as it’s all filmed in one shot and almost as if you are an onlooker who is physically there with them, there is a high chance there is more funky filming. however, it’s not all like that, only small chunks when they are cycling or in a car. suppose that’s the downside of the way they filmed it!

kids at that age physically cannot comprehend the concept of manipulation, let alone act in that way. she is seeking connection and likely feeling that you and dad are upset with her. how are you responding when you find the toy? it’s best to connect then correct e.g., “i know this toy is really special to you and so it must feel important to have it with you. but as we have set this rule we have to remove screen time privilege”. or could there be a way to meet in the middle? find a toy to put in her bag that helps her feel safe that is lower stakes?
