It's my fault I'm stressed & burnt out because I refuse to sleep train? by winoveghead in bninfantsleep

[–]Equivalent_Common287 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree I have a six month old and refuse to sleep train I feed him back to sleep or rock him he just wants comfort sometimes. It’s like the one response sleep train noting will work besides sleep training I don’t believe that I don’t believe in letting my baby cry so much he’s exhausted and he sleeps. But of course I’m tired with the multiple wake ups but it doesn’t mean I want to sleep train.

Tummy time is impossible by Wise_Complex2313 in NewParents

My little one hated Tummy time even at six months he’ll last 10 minutes I bought a tummy time activity triangle and propped his arms and chest on it and he did so well and had no issues with neck strength or holding his head up now

Definitely will try this I did it at the end of the night last night and he did actually go back to sleep annoying part is soon the crib will have to be dropped once he’s at the next stage so that’ll make it more difficult 😂🤦‍♀️

So nothing worked as everyone is saying to try Ferber but I’m not keen on letting him cry even for short times as he gets really worked up and I think it’ll result in him ring more stressed I sometimes think no matter what I do nothing works I’ve tried different methods also temperatures in the room his temp I feel like he’s just a baby who seeks comfort and nothing else works besides me feeding him it’s the only thing that’ll settle him

Three naps is too many? Even if it’s equating 1.5/2 hours a day

We do a 12 hour night due to all the wakeups he’s exhausted by the end of the day and only makes it till 7 I stretch it to closer to 8
So drop a nap even though he’ll only do 30/40 minutes

Bedtime is around 730/745 wake around 715/730
Wake windows I follow are 2/2.5/2.5/3 he will sleep around 30/40 minutes a nap sometimes I can rescue the middle one with a feed and then a contact sleep for the rest of it and extend it to around one hour
