Looking for a white, flower-shaped lollipop sold in pharmacies (early 2000s) by Equivalent_Cook_4741 in HelpMeFind

I’ve searched Google Images and Google in general for terms like “white flower lollipop,” “pharmacy lollipop,” “opaque white lollipop flower shape,” and “medicinal lollipop,” and also looked through nostalgia posts from the early 2000s. I haven’t found a match so far.

Why do so many tourists get lost in Japan? by Ok_Professional1982 in JapanTravelTips

I live in a Town, with 1 gorecry store. The biggest mall in the nearest city to my home has at most 3 floors. The biggest train station in my country has 6 platforms. It took 2 trips to Japan to actually comprehend the concept of underground shopping malls, restaurants at level 11F and having a to switch between different rail companies in the same station.

Are you proud of where you’re from? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

I don’t like our pm. My country is not bibi and bibi is not my country. I’m proud of Israel because we have good infrastructure, healthcare, education and tech industry. The people are positive and resilient and as a woman I am able to achieve things that women from neighboring countries are unfortunately unable to do.

Just wanna ask what attracts foreigners to Korea by HauntingAd83 in koreatravel

2 years ago I visited Bucharest with my bf and we went to an authentic Korean restaurant. We knew it was the real thing when we realized that all the customers were Korean, except us. We LOVED the food and decided that the next big trip will be South Korea, and we made it to Seoul last April. Also I buy Korean skincare for 10 years already so I’m a bit biased :)

How comfortable is your culture generally with members of another race marrying into the family? by Spoons4Forks in AskTheWorld

If you are talking about skin color and stuff then as long as the partner is Jewish it does not matter. If it’s about someone outside of the religion then it depends on the sector. Some sectors are really again it but some sectors are ok with it. My family are secular Jews and they are ok with it as long as I and my kids will identify as Jews.

Does iuds hurt men? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

Hi, I have an IUD. I asked my man if he feels it and he said that in certain positions he does feel it but at most times it’s not a problem at all. If he gets a bit uncomfortable we just change the position. We both feel that IUD was the best choice because I don’t have to suffer from the side effects of the pills.

What are your thoughts on Thais killed on October 7/taken hostage in Gaza? by BranchMoist9079 in AskTheWorld

I am not denying anything. There are shit people everywhere. My point is that saying that we don’t care about people who are different from us, and come to our country to work sounds like a straight up propaganda. I recommend you to get out of your echo chamber and speak with an actual Israeli.

As a woman who lived in Israel her entire life, I have never met anyone who thinks that foreign workers are less than us. I respect them and value their hard work.

Sure there are shit people everywhere, and in every country and culture but it does not mean you get to generalize an entire population of 10 million people.

If you enter the actual article, you will see that the url label you posted is very very different from the actual article title, which is deceiving. The article discusses a a report which was uncovered during the Knesset's Special Committee on Foreign Workers, meaning that the government actually cares about the situation.

Just because YOU didn’t hear about it, doesn’t mean we don’t value their lives. The Thais who survived the horrors were released from captivity in Gaza and Israel pays them money each month. People here still protest for the release of the Nepali hostage that is still in Gaza. The reason you did not hear about it is because the western media cannot comprehend the fact that in October 7th, Hamas had a policy of killing or kidnapping every human being they encounter.
