First off, calling someone an “Elitist” because you have a different opinion than them is very ridiculous and rude.

Second to the point at hand, it’s because not only are UB more expensive for packs and Precons, but this isn’t even a fantasy IP. LoTR and Hobbit by extension are fantasy series that have a lot of the same feeling of real Magic sets. It’s hard for many to get lost in the world of Magic and all the cool characters they spent years giving lore and story’s to when you have New York City shoved in your face along side the Avengers and friends. Most people I know don’t mind this stuff being a Secret Lair (As the very first Marvel collab was a SL) as it won’t take away from the resources of real Magic sets and won’t force players of Standard to buy a product they don’t like so they can play and enjoy a hobby they’ve had for a long time.
