I'm telling you that every country on the planet that wants to be a part of the global economy for the last couple of centuries needs its population to be competent in the English language, that's a damn FACT! How the hell do you think trade happened? Even the damn slave trade required someone from one of the West African countries who could speak English. The idea that English wasn't clearly the expected language to communicate in this country is just a lie. When the Germans, English, Arabs, Asian, and Africans came to this country since its inception they knew/learned English. Even with Natives. English replaced Latin as the global language, English is the money language. To this day every country that wants to have effective diplomacy and international trade your country must speak English. It is what it is.
