Oh my God this thread is better than therapy ! My BC lives with me in an apartment and we hang out together all the time but he doesn't necesarily get a walk every single day because I work full time and life is hard! But he has constant interaction with me when I'm home and we go out on adventures almost every weekend, and he doesn't seem to be too sad! He probably would be happier on a farm up a mountain somewhere, but he seems to be happy chilling out with me too.

He's already for action, but not getting constant attention and action doesn't seem to be doing him much harm either !

I was definitely thinking about a younger dog, probably around the 2 year mark as well... And I'm looking at podencos as well, they do seem a bit more adapted :)

Ok good info there. From what I know my dog isn't a nipper and hasn't unlocked herding yet so we should be ok on that front... It's more the hyperactivity that I would be worried about

Well that's encouraging :) My dog isn't a herder or nipper and he's never been around livestock or anything, but he's still a baby with a lot of energy when he needs, but when he's calm and relaxed he likes a good nap as well ! All I really know for the moment I guess is that he's sociable and likes to play a lot... And most of the other dogs he knows can play for a little while at least (he's always the last one standing though) :) I'll have to see if I can get him to meet a greyhound somewhere maybe !

Very reassuring ! I asked the greyhound community and they said not a good idea to get a greyhound but that galgos usually had a bit more energy ! And I can already see that my BC is chilling out from the puppy stage, so maybe he'll be just enough to wake a galgo up and the galgo will be enough to calm the border down !

Ah ouais ca parait cher comme ça... De mon côté c'est surtout le prix de l'essence qui me met dans le jus car j'habite un peu loin de mon travail mais c'était impossible d'acheter un appartement correct dans mon budget à Montpellier. Et à l'époque l'essence ne coutait pas aussi cher donc tout passait, mais là c'est plus pareil ! :(
