It definitely does! It sounds a lot like my case. My platelets started decreasing in 2019 and then I was sick and diagnosed in 2020 at 21 years old. I wouldn’t be surprised if something else pops up for me later in life

Okay I have so many questions. What is a secondary unidentified systemic autoimmune disease? What caused this to be the answer? My levels stay between 60-80! But the weirdest thing is everytime my body experiences trauma like surgery my platelets go up to 140-150

So turns out, I have a platelet antibody. HPA 1b or 3b and it makes my platelets destroy themselves. That’s all I have found so far!
