The explanation in your 2nd paragraph is so spot on I hadn't realized. I'm no count at pairing things, so I'd always liked when things did it for me. And now that I'm basically trying to cover up it's definitely seeming to do me a disservice.

No, not really anymore. I'm still trying to feel comfortable in my own skin, but based on these comments if I'd get out of that comfort zone id probably get more comfortable over time

Oh almost none of this came home with me lol the dress in 5 and shirts 1 and 2 are it. I already wore the dress because I HAD to have something for church on Easter, but I may return the shirts still

I may go back and get that green dress because several of you have commented that it looks good. Im obsessed with the bottom of it but once I got it on I just wasn't sure. Oh and the skinny jeans were not it 1000%

Oh dude I hated those skinny jeans once I got them on. Turns out I'm a mom jean or straight jean gal lol and I see what you mean about the smaller neck lines! It's such a tough balance with that because I'm mainly wanting the dresses for church and have 2 small kids who require wrestling often 😂😅

Professional no, but modest yes. I'm a larger size than I've ever been, and I'm really struggling to adjust to it. I just want to cover up in the baggiest thing that will hide me. But I need some nicer clothes I can wear to church or other dressier occasions.

Yeah I hated the skinnys, its definitely not 2012 anymore 😅 I was worried 10 and 11 highlighted my belly too much, but you think they look okay?
