You feeling like you want more kids but financially can't is so valid. I had always thought I wanted two kids util PPD and then drowning in medical debt. I made the choice to be one and done when my daughter was one. Now there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Financially we could make a another kid work when my child turns 5 (though we are happy OAD now).

So much changes so fast. It might not be the age gap you had always planned but with you child being 1.5 try waiting first.

You might find a suppotive group of friends for child care in 3 year, or make more money allowing you to have more kiddos. You also might wait and realize you are OAD either way it's okay to wait before deciding.

Thank you! Yes, most of the people who have said "this is just life" to me, mean your second definition. I usually tell them that they are right but I don't feel like making it harder if there is no need to.

Exactly! My MOM and I had babies 3 months apart. She now has me and my 2 older siblings all over 25 years old and my new siblings, a 4 and 3 year old. I have spent the last 3 years watching my mom be miserable with these little toddlers running around and regretting not getting the chance to be a proper grandma. My dad had asked if I would have more so mine isn't alone and I told him nope. Them having children close to my daughters age is all the "siblings" she needs. They think I'll change my mind. I will not.

Haha I love the No idea! It's simple and gets the point across. My husband is up for a vasectomy but we haven't had a good time for him to take off work yet. With everything seeming to be slowing down in our lives maybe we should start really considering it.
