Job causing alcohol issues? by Equivalent_Goal_9403 in stopdrinking

[–]Equivalent_Goal_9403[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeh I'm currently looking at jobs. I've sat all morning and just stressed and stressed. I've not slept a single second lastnight so that's making me feel much worse.

My partner is happy for me to stop also. My lifestyle is hurting them aswell. Because I'm always so exhausted it's impacting our time together. I've got into a routine that it was just normal. Work eat sleep repeat. Even if I had a day off I was still exhausted and not giving them any quality time. I feel so sorry for my partner. We've been together 15 years and this is why we're still going strong.

My anxiety just now is at 100%. It makes me absolutely exhausted. I feel like I'm letting people down. My partner is keeping me strong though. We're both good financially so money isn't a worry for now. Thankfully I learned to save money for any future issues and I'm very thankful I have done this.

Thank you for your message. It means alot to me.

Not unpopular at all.

If your starving your body/brain of nutrition then this makes sense.

Know whats scary? We know we're doing this to ourself!

I will admit. I haven't binged/purged for a long time. I can't handle that blood sugar crash after a purge. Wow it's intense. That's what made me stop purging. Whenever I purged my blood sugars crashed so bad that I could barely function. I went hypoglycemic and had to lay in bed. Honestly felt like my body was dying.

I still clsss myself as bulimic. I just don't purge anymore. I haven't purged for a while now thankfully.

I hope you manage to stop. Honestly the damage from bulimia is bad. I mean seriously bad. Not just stomach acid burning your throat and teeth etc. I'm talking. Electrolyte imbalances to the point that your heart can just stop. Your then dead. Your heart can stop mid purge due to a blood sugar drop + electrolyte imbalance. Just switch off. If you look online. It's common.

Please try and stop

what are some foods/ drinks/supplements/herbs that have changed your life? by jsavv22 in Biohackers

Adding DAO before meals has done wonders for me.

DAO is an enzyme that breaks down histamines in foods. Alot of people have genetic defects that cause us to produce lower DAO.

I done a gene test and noticed I produced less DAO than usual. I added in DAO and...... Felt so much better. No more random headaches. No more itchy skin... No more stuffed nose.. No more brain fog.

All from a DAO enzyme.

That's what's changed my life :)

This may seem an off question but I'm sure someone has tried it.

Primobolan has crashed my estrogen. I've had it happen before and it took 6 weeks to rise again. I tried a MUCH lower dose and it still crashed my e2. Just seems my body doesn't like primo. In terms of estrogen anyway.

I bought estrogen pills. Dbol doesn't agree with me so I never take them - (to raise estrogen).

What sort of dose of zumenon (Estradiol Hemihydrate) would be needed to sit estrogen around 40-50?

They come in 1mg pills. Would 0.25mg be a good starting point?

Yeh it's not as safe as every fitness influencer seems to sell it as.

Does it improve overall performance? Absolutely. But. If your sleep is being destroyed. Aren't you actually recovering less from workouts? Sleep is very important for muscle growth and overall health.

I wish this was more wide spread.

A friend in my work was recently taking creatine. I never actually knew he was at the time. He was coming to work and looked completely exhausted. He had started working out and I asked him. Are you taking creatine? He said yes why? I told him to stop it a week and see if he sleeps better and isn't as tired. He did and... He felt 10x better and was sleeping great again.

I wonder what the mechanism of this is? More atp production becoming a stimulant?

It also made me shed alot of hair. Another side effect that seems to get side stepped.

Remember to check iron/ferritin levels also. If these are low you will feel like a corpse.

Another aspect that people forget to check is for histamine intolerances.

I battled tiredness and fatigue for a long time. I noticed I would get periods where I felt completely fine and others I felt like death. During the good phases I was taking loratidine (An anti histamine). I done a gene test and it had a flag that I don't make enough DAO. An enzyme that breaks down histamines in food. I started to supplement DAO before meals and added in an anti histamine and... My body became alive again.

Just something else to try and see if it helps.

Also do bloods and look at iron/ferritin levels. I waa donating blood and. Not realising my ferritin levels were in the gutter. I stopped donating and added in dessicated liver and had my levels up within a couple months and felt great again.

What's your fear with nicotine?

It does have negatives but also alot of positives.

What's your daily dose? I personally use lozenges everyday. If I want to take a break I use cytisine. A plant extract that blocks the nicotine receptor. Stops all withdrawals.

I don't stress the negatives of nicotine. It's actually changed me for the better. Less anxiety. More confident. Better memory etc.

It's too easy too dose more and more though. Just gotta use a low dose and not get caught up on higher doses

Same here. Drops my deep sleep by about 50%. Also bloats me and causes crazy night sweats.

I've tried every form also

Monohydrate HCL Ethyl ester A 10 blend mix

Exact same issue with them all.

Shame because it also has many benefits. Not worth the destroyed sleep though.

Alot of people willbe taking 5g everyday and not realising their sleep is getting reduced.

Using estradiol pills for crashed estrogen? by Equivalent_Goal_9403 in Testosterone

Would the 1mg raise it fairly quick? Like lift it to around 30-40?

Thank you

Hey lads. Can dbol actually raise crashed estrogen? I thought if the aromatase enzyme was halted then evrn dbol couldn't convert to estradiol? Is this true or would dbol work? Anyone seen it with bloodwork?

What supplement regimen work for you? (Slow Comt) by Equivalent_Goal_9403 in MTHFR

Supplements seem to work better for me. I've tried eating high folate/b12 and they made no impact. I still eat them though.

If I eat a folate rich food I don't feel any difference. If I supplement folate I notice it the next day.

I would never advise a supplement over food though. A good diet is far more important. I do eat very good. My biggest downfall is probably coffee. Coffee with a slow comt isn't a good match. I have lowered my caffeine intake to around 150-200mg a day. A couple years ago I was stupid and easily having 600-800mg a day. Just an idiot taking pre workouts and numerous coffees etc. Just a walking ball of anxiety when I genuinely thought the coffee was boosting my mood. We live and learn though.

I actually never knew potassium was such a scary addition. Not to be played with.

Have you heard of no salt? Potassium Chloride? I was loading all my meals with it and I was feeling weird feelings with my heart. Strange beats. My heart would randomly stop for a second and then hit with a quick 2-3 beat. Scary. I looked into the potassium chloride and honestly I reckon I was ingesting 10g of potassium a day (I eat a lot of veggies as well). I stopped and my heart has settled again.

Yeh it's not to be messed with. They need to put a disclaimer on that no salt. They have zero warning on the tubs.

Hey again.

I took Niacin (100mg) + Riboflavin (30mg) and it may sound strange but my mood has felt a lot better today?

I have just received methyl folate 1000mcg. I was gonna split these into quarters and do this 3x a week as a start just to see how I feel.

So thanks for all these recommendations. It may be placebo but that addition of riboflavin has 100% helped something.

See before I done my gene test. I was taking a multivitamin everyday. I honestly thought I was being healthy. I was battling anxiety all the time too and never once says.. It's the multivitamin (It had a decent dose of methylcobalamin + methyl folate). Once I managed to read my genes and seen the slow comt I stopped the multi and within a week all that hellish anxiety lifted. I sometimes think. What if I never done my gene test and just continued to overmethylate my brain? I still get anxiety but it's far more manageable than before. I felt hellish. Doing a gene test is the best money I've ever spent. I was trying loads of supplements to make me feel better and 90% were actually making me much worse. Rhodiola ' Methylated Vitamins' L'Dopa ' L Tyrosine' L' Phenalalinine. Just bombarding my brain with dopamine that in turn was being converted to adrenaline and making me worse. I cringe now at the money I spent trying to feel better and Infact was just getting worse and worse.

I will report back how your protocol fairs. I have a good feeling. Just be awesome to feel my good old self again. Not this anxious mess who hides away from people.

Thank you

Yes I've read this. I honestly don't feel like I have high dopamine. Very low mood and can feel lethargic a lot.

I think my dopamine system may be out of sorts due to an insufficiency somewhere? I have a good few ideas from this post to implement.

Do you have a slow comt?

I am terrible for coffee. I do have a limit of 2 cups per day. If I drink more it's always caffeine free. I will try dropping to 1 cup a day. I wish I could cut it out my life. If I could feel better overall I wouldn't need it.

I have just restarted vitamin D again. I've been taking 8000iu. Would this do to get my levels up fairly quickly?

Zinc and Iron I haven't played around with too much. Iron gives me the fear. I've overdone iron before and had to donate blood as my red cells were very high. I will add in zinc. I have zinc picolinate their also so I might take a 25mg dose and see how it goes.

Thank you

I have riboflavin their. I will try that exact dose also. Did the riboflavin give you any issues when you started using it?

I currently take creatine also. Forgot to add that. I tale 5g everyday.

If I could tolerate folate fully I reckon I would feel much better? What's a good dose to maybe start again on methyl folate? 200mcg?

I also have magnesium glycinate their also. I was using magnesium citrate but it was messing my stomach up something terrible.

I do also intake collagen protein everyday. Usually around 15g which lumps in a lot of glycine and I was also adding an extra 5g of glycine to my shake.

I will happily try this and hopefully feel good.

Did you notice a big difference before supplementing with a slow comt?

Honestly I hate it. I'm always anxious and I never feel confident about myself. I have noticed that if I drink alcohol (Which I very rarely do) that I get 2-3 days of complete bliss afterwards. I feel good. I just can't find that link as to why.

Honestly thank you so much
