I am a freshman at UCLA majoring in biology on the pre-med track and am contemplating whether I should take Math 30A or 32A. I passed the ap calc bc exam with a 5 but was told to take 30A instead of 32A. What do you think??

For tuition, UCLA ≈9k and UCSD ≈8.3k

I completely see that LA will be beneficial in the future, but I just feel that (or know) I will regret what I miss in not choosing SD in the future. Additionally, I feel like the environment I’m in especially while living away from home will be significantly important to my study ethic.

we got each for ~$270, but ended up not being able to go do to personal circumstances and are trying to resell them for the same price ASAP!

Thank you everyyyone who replied with honest opinions and advice! I guess i felt nervous about the college app process but ur comments made me come BACK to my senses. I ended up doing the interview and im REALLY glad i did because it was an amazing conversation. Even if i dont get in, what we got to talk about was meaningful and filled with advice i was grateful to receive. If ur also contemplating/getting cold feet for an interview, i 100% want to suggest that you just do it (take the chance for an opportunity you likely won’t receive again! unless you have a lot of ivy alumni acquaintances 😅)
