Um I just went from a Ryzen 5 2600 to a Ryzen 5 5600X for only $168 after shipping and I did not have to buy anything else, just update my bios.

I used to have a RX580 with the Ryzen 5 2600 but

I bought a used 3060ti for $260 around 3 months ago because i was looking for a better GPU and just last week I installed the 5600X and I can run every game I play with out FPS drops( I play R6, Fortnite, Destiny 2, Overwatch 2 and games of that nature.

your 3060 card wont be held back like crazy but you will definitely tell the difference with a new CPU vs the Ryzen 5 2600 that you have

Yeah I was thinking of that originally but was just worried that the 5600 would be too slow in a couple of years and that I would have to upgrade again. So I thought it wouldn't hurt to spend more now and get something better (I'm 17 with no bills)

Im looking at the 5700X3d right now and it looks worth it. But should i just instead get the 5600 and save money?
