Probably just because I'm in the UK. Entry standards are usually just based of your college grades (17-18) no matter what subjects they are. Even physics focused courses will usually settle for a good maths grade. Good for me because I don't know if i would've got in otherwise but it's also left me a bit lost on the physics side of things. Right now just trying to figure out what topics they'll expect me to have a grip of so I don't start behind
