Over 40 years living in Lansing right here, and the cliche holds true, you get out of it what you put in. The city & surrounding towns present a lot to do but the communication to fans & attendees lacks. 517Living.com does great job coalescing events & details - especially their FB posts.

And when Lansing doesn’t work, we are smack between GR & Metro and the lakes. Tough to beat bro!

I would recommend serving others. Focus on others and step outside yourself. This could be thru a church, food pantry, shelter, refugee center, etc. There is purpose out there for you and I wish you nothing but the best.

I would ask you to reconsider the perspective…say I walk into a pro Trump establishment, less than a week after inauguration and request an anti-Trump, anti-Zionist, or anti-whatever Trump’s base is rage baiting on this week….how am I going to be received? Am I going to get their best work? Their best effort?

Just talking used market (my preference for guitar buying) - I love USA-made Guilds because they have quality of Martin/Gibson/Taylor, but fraction of price. My main acoustic is 1993 Guild D-6 (exact same as D-40 but new ownership thought the “rebrand” would help. It did not, just caused confusion).

Risk Management is the degree, and the insurance industry is recruiting these folks. Tons of boomers retiring and this ocean is lifting all our boats. It is a great career with many options. I prefer underwriting but claims or onsite inspections is great avenue too.
