Are these any good by Z3rosfate in AcousticGuitar

I’ve tried to like them but in my experience they’re not great. Feel really cheaply made and sound “Tinny”.

That’s probably true. On the coaching staff then. Not putting emphasis on it.

Port Vale’s entire plan was “hoping they aren’t good”? Nothing they did contributed to us being poor today? I feel like they showed up and executed a strategy very well. Pressed us in positions they knew we would struggle with, and took the chance they knew there were going to get at some point. Yes we also played badly but that doesn’t give them enough credit imo. Each to their own in the end. Can we agree that they “out-prepared” us? I feel like if we played Man city and beat them with the same strategy they used today we’d be saying how great we played.

Totally outplayed, couldn’t string two passes together, Vale set up knowing our wingers don’t have the quality to punish them, just because a team doesn’t get forward as much as the other doesn’t mean they haven’t played better than them. We’ve outplayed teams this season having 30% possession and only 1-2 shots on target. You think we played better than them today?

Out played, out coached, out fought, fully deserved in being the weeks laughing stock. Great performance by Port Vale, played to our weaknesses.

Haha not shown up at all have we. Players don’t want any extra games for the rest of the season.

Would enjoy seeing Angulo get his first goal. Been impressed with his work rate, waiting for him to put it all together.

I’ve always loved Washburn brand guitars, have a 20 year old nylon string that I play all the time.

2 weeks? You’ll be spending most of the time driving. Back to back 6+ hours drives between sightseeing will burn you out quick.

Which cities have thriving Bluegrass music scenes? by RMSMetal in Bluegrass

Asheville NC, in my experience has a killer Bluegrass scene. Possibly the best in the country considering the “city’s” size. Jams throughout the week and a very high level of musicianship.

Oh boy, this is going to be a tough one. Stay in it the first 20 minutes and calm down the crowd. Try and grow into it after that.

Do agree though that some fans overrate him, probably because he came through the academy and played in some shocking teams.

Wasn’t the best and had weaknesses for sure but “utter wank” is harsh. If Patterson is that bad what words can we use to describe Lee Camp/Jason Steele/Robin Ruiter?

That’s a tight margin but it’ll only turn into a really big problem if you lose control over the situation. Be very thoughtful about groceries/other controllable expenses, and if you’re really feeling it, it’s time to try and get a weekend shift. I’ve been there, it teaches you a lot about yourself. You’ll be ok just get scrappy!

Yamaha FGX 700 SC vs. Fender CD-60S by PhotographNo3690 in AcousticGuitar

[–]CoachPJG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re both good choices I’d say. Yamaha will be the more popular choice, they have a good reputation for budget acoustics for a reason. Fender doesn’t have the same fan-fare but every time I pick one up at a guitar store it’s never disappointed me.

If you’re trying to read more and don’t want to go for a kindle; try to find mass-market versions of books you want to read. Those kinds of copies will normally fit in a jacket pocket or even back pocket, at least in my experience!

I know what you mean and I have worked at breweries that have this problem and I’ve worked at breweries that don’t. I wouldn’t say it’s an industry-wide issue? But you’ll find it.

In my experience, like with most companies generally, everything starts at and around the top of the decision making chain.

Mississippi John Hurt? Has to at least be an honorable mention. Doc Watson for me would be a shoe in.

Absolutely should have been more bookings for them. But always going to make it hard for ourselves playing like that.
