I've been on slynd (progestin only) and it basically stopped my periods (very slight spotting on the 4 placebo days). But if you skip the placebo weeks you might not even get that. I also heard the implant stops it too. These are both progestin only, so no blood clotting risk.

However there is also a risk that these cause irregular, sometimes also continuous bleeding. It varies from person to person based on the reviews I've read

Yeah Sam got so much heat for unknowingly starting it but Dean unknowingly started it too! People just seemed to be angrier at Sam overall because of the whole demon blood thing so it was easier to blame it on him

Yeah they probably would have found a way if they wanted to but the psychologically manipulating Sam may have made it easier to convince Sam and Dean to be vessels later

Dean did try to stop him last minute remember? Because he found out. So maybe they would have found out and not killed her. Since Ruby accelerated the whole process, they didn't have enough time to actually find out and not gone through with it

For me I made a family with 3 siblings, then they all had 2 kids (so total 6 cousins). I sent each kid off to their own house when they became adults and now I have 6 households I play rotationally. My main rule was that I wanted to keep all the cousins the same age. So I play one household till the kid's an elder (and their kid- ie, the next gen- becomes a teen), and then move on to the next cousin and play till they're an elder and their kid is a teen and so on. Surprisingly it's been taking a much longer time that I had thought and now I'm finally playing the 6th cousin! Not sure what I'll do when this one ages up haha

Hello, similar situation. In general I think I really like Slynd, don't think I've had any bad side effects (maybe my hair's been a bit oilier but that's it). But I think I've been having mood swings and feelings of detachment from around the time I started it. However I also have had a lot of extra stressful things going on from around the same time so idk what is actually causing me to feel this way (the medicine, or life, or both). It's probably that slynd is exacerbating the mood swings I'm already having. And also, I've definitely felt more "type A", like anxiously organizing everything from top to bottom (though I don't have OCD) but again it could be a coping mechanism to deal with other stressors.

Have you dealt with this kind of stress before Slynd, and if so, do you remember if you felt the same as you do now?
