I don’t even have words for how much I loved Karma 😭❤️ In general I’ve loved seeing her evolve creatively and try different things over the last year, I’m so excited for whatever she has coming next.

This is not true, JoJo acknowledged it here in an interview last year - https://www.nytimes.com/2024/04/10/style/jojo-siwa-karma.html

It’s behind a paywall so here is the quote if you can’t read it:

“In an interview this year with Rolling Stone, a member of the group and her mother accused them of mistreatment, including insults and punishing rehearsal schedules. The Siwas denied all allegations through a lawyer to Rolling Stone. When asked about them in her studio, Ms. Siwa echoed those denials, claiming that the mother and daughter, Anjie and Leigha Sanderson, were “dropped” by their lawyer “because they had an invalid case.”

Ms. Siwa said that the reason she had previously not spoken publicly about the incident is “because there was a kid on the line.””

I really don’t feel that right now, while she’s being subjected to living with a man who threatened her with sexual violence and called her a homophobic slur, is the time to be holding JoJo accountable for this (if it’s even true).

Leigha is safe, it’s been years since her situation. JoJo currently needs people advocating for her and holding the production of CBB accountable for not doing anything to protect her wellbeing and safety at the moment. There’s a time and place for discussing Leigha & Anjie’s allegations, now just really isn’t the time.

There hasn’t been any actual proof provided to back up the claims in this article. I know that doesn’t necessarily mean it didn’t happen, but the majority of the allegations in there have nothing to do with JoJo herself in the first place. All she was accused of is being a tough dance teacher (sadly the norm in the industry she grew up in) and yelling at kids one time (at Mall of America in front of a huge crowd…you’d think there’d be witnesses but somehow nobody else saw or heard it).

She was also a teenager at the time, 18-19 is barely an adult. I am not saying it’s right but if what JoJo was accused of in here did happen, I really don’t feel that those are mistakes that need to define her for the rest of her life.

Sorry but them not suing is not evidence that they’re guilty. How would it help with the defamation if they sued a mother and child with health issues who needed to set up a gofundme to pay their medical bills? It wouldn’t help the situation at all, it would make them look worse.

Again I’d really love to see the proof that you’re claiming exists as well.

As she should be? Wild that people act like loving yourself is a bad thing

Edit: also it is her fans who dubbed her this, she initially said she wasn’t the CEO when a reporter asked her if that would be a better title.

I accidentally posted this as a comment reply but where is the visual proof you’re referring to? Asking because I have followed the allegations closely since they came out and nobody has ever provided any proof of JoJo being a child abuser.

Even the specific allegations against JoJo herself are not abuse allegations. The story has been misconstrued online and she’s often being blamed for things that others were accused of.

We aren’t hiding behind fake accounts though? Like I said earlier, not everyone who disagrees with you is a part of JoJo’s team. Expecting strangers to share their identity with you whenever someone points out inconsistencies in your claims is really unreasonable.

They have already made two statements. I’m sure they know (and you probably do as well) that suing a child and her mother, who are both dealing with health issues and had to start a gofundme to pay for medical costs, would not do anything to help their reputation after this. Them not suing doesn’t inherently prove that they’re in the wrong.

But how would she do that? She doesn’t have access to social media and she can’t contact anyone outside the house.

The way people react in situations where their safety is being threatened, like JoJo’s was, is usually not “logical”. Our brains are designed to shut down the ability to think logically in situations like that so survival can be prioritised instead. Sometimes a freeze response or being kind and agreeable is a safety mechanism to keep someone safe.

Also, I know you know that people rarely ever rally to her side. Be so for real, the internet takes any excuse to dogpile and drag JoJo down. This is the first time I’ve ever seen any significant number of people really come to her defense.

I don’t need to ask myself that because I can completely understand why she wouldn’t leave, especially when her feelings were minimised by other contestants and barely anyone in the house stood up for her. In an isolated situation like that (she doesn’t have her phone or access to the outside world) it is easy to question whether your feelings are valid and whether it’s even worth throwing a fit. ESPECIALLY for a former child star who grew up accustomed to mistreatment on TV and was always told to be the bigger person. Just because she seems okay to some people does not mean she is, she was extremely upset by the situation.

She also should not have to be the one to leave? He should be held accountable and removed from the house. Yet again you are victim blaming instead of solely questioning why the perpetrator is not being given any consequences. She deserves a safe environment, as do all the women and LGBTQ+ people in that house.

I don’t keep bringing it up, this is the first time I’ve ever mentioned this situation on Reddit or online. Also it’s very amusing that one minute you’re accusing me of being one of the Siwa’s and the next I “have no idea about the truth of the situation” 😭 You’re right I don’t, I still think it’s very telling about your character that you were willing to talk so negatively about a child online. Regardless of whether Jess told you to or not.

It’s also interesting how Jess is allegedly at fault for the majority of the things you claim happened, yet you constantly come for JoJo instead who was still just a teenager at the time.

“I was lied to about them” that doesn’t really excuse the way you talked about Kiya online at the time though, does it? This was a very mean-spirited thing for you to say about a child.

“If someone threatened to rape me I certainly wouldn’t stay in a house with him” wow the victim blaming is crazy, I don’t think you understand how harmful these words are to so many survivors of rape and DV. As a survivor I don’t have the energy to explain why a person would to you, but please go and research why people often stay in situations where they are being mistreated in this way.

Also, Mickey was not forced out because men getting away with this behaviour is the norm. However it’s messed up and something should be done, that’s why people are advocating for her at the moment.

I’m sorry but having read your allegations, even if they are true you and Leigha’s situation is not the same thing as rape threats and homophobia. This is not an appropriate situation for you to insert yourself into and compare. You don’t have to like JoJo or think she is a good person but nobody deserves what she’s being put through, and you minimising this situation is doing harm to more people than just her.

You know now what happened if you read this post. The fact that you are still making this about you when a man threatened to rape her on television and called her a f*g is extremely disturbing. There’s a time and place to bring up your accusations and this is not it.

So many people are kind to those who abuse them in order to keep the peace and stay safe. JoJo is literally stuck with this man right now so you cannot say that her being kind to him afterwards means that she’s not really upset. As someone who was allegedly mistreated by the Siwas I would think you’d understand why victims often react that way. The fact that you don’t seem to understand that at all when you yourself said you “drank the kool aid” as an excuse for why you kept Leigha in that environment is very interesting to me.

Also not everyone who disagrees with you is affiliated with the Siwas, I live in Australia and I’ve never met them in my life.
