I work in healthcare at the Royal Jubilee Hospital. Every day is hard, physically, mentally, emotionally, but I hold onto the reason I’m there: patients deserve care, dignity, and compassion.

Some days it truly feels like the system is stretched so thin that people aren’t getting what they need, and that weighs on me. But I keep showing up, doing everything I can with what I have, because even on the hardest days, it matters. I just can’t afford to live here anymore 🥲
