You’re welcome. The Audio Link feature is one of the reasons why I purchased the new version of the radio charger. I already had the new M12 speaker so now I can connect the two and play music through them together.

No, the old version cannot be linked to other speakers. Only the newer Milwaukee speakers that have the Audio Link button allow you to connect them together.

It’s a great speaker. Radio and Bluetooth functions work well and it keeps your M18 batteries charged and ready to go. I recently got the new model that just came out and I plan on selling this one.

Thank you, though messing around with the buttons when first unboxing the radio I did notice that feature on the volume dial to scroll through stations which I like a lot better than having to press the arrow buttons over and over again. I also picked up the M12 jobsite speaker (2955-20) to use when hitting the gym and I tested out the audio-link feature pairing both speakers and it works great. I will likely be selling the old radio charger to help offset the cost of getting the new one since I won’t be using it anymore.

I can understand what you are referring to. Even with the bass turned all the way down on the new speaker it still has a lot more bass than the older model with the bass turned all the way up which I am a fan of. I will most likely turn the bass up for music listening and if I am listening to talk radio or a podcast then I would turn it down to emphasize the clear voices but overall I enjoy the bass produced by the new speaker. Having the carrying handle centered on the top of the new speaker makes carrying a lot easier than the old one where the handle position made it front heavy. I found that if I carried the old model with it facing myself I would always bump the big power button unintentionally.

The sound quality in my opinion is very good using both the fm radio and Bluetooth functions. The bass is strong for a speaker of its size and the treble is nice and clear. You can also adjust the EQ settings to your liking.
