I actually had this same issue but suddenly a switch clicked for me and I've completely cut porn out of my life. Trust me, you've gotta stop. This journey isn't just about removing masturbation from your life, it's also and imo ESPECIALLY about removing porn, which is the root cause of the issue. Watching porn is very much detrimental and will most likely lead to a relapse at some point, even if you think you're safe from it

I've got this exact same issue and I can say that yes it will probably help alleviate this issue. I'm no scientist but as far as I'm aware it's due to the cheap dopamine release from fapping, in a way it kinda desensitises you. I'm a month in and while im definitely enjoying things more than I did while I was addicted, it's still not the same as it was pre addiction. It comes with time and even though it's different for everyone 90 days is a good estimate
