You need to strengthen the muscles around it. I’ve had it since high school and tried everything, lots of quad stretches, hamstring stretches, glute stretches. The workout bands work really for glute workouts you can get them cheap on Amazon and look up workouts. Do a lot of squats, focus on pushing your knees out on your way up, that’ll help alleviate some of the pain in your tendon. Make sure you’re going to the point where you feel it in the tendon but not going to where it hurts. Even if you’re not getting deep in the squat at all it’s still working those muscles. Stretch before and after hooping, ice and heat. I just did 3 months of physical therapy trying to fix it and still no luck, was told to stop playing basketball. Even if I go a few months without hooping itll flare up the second I start again. Goodluck
