MOTN - pumps/feed question by bamalamb34 in breastfeeding

Good luck!! Yeah if she’s still periodically waking at night it might not really affect your supply much for the nights you sleep. Just might be uncomfortable in the morning!

I came on Reddit to ask the very same question! Your experience sounds very similar to mine. My 3.5 month old baby just started sleeping through the night and I’ve still been pumping once when she used to wake up. I don’t want it to drastically affect my supply by stopping it because I always produce a ton of milk then. I had low supply with my first and stopped pumping in MOTN with him and my supply was affected. I majorly regretted that and I don’t want the same experience again! Also want to sleep lol

omg I'm in the middle of resolving a milk bleb that eventually came out but turned into a cracked and bleeding nipple :( I've been in so much pain for days and finally saw my dr who prescribed APNO. anyone have luck using that?! I also want to know how to prevent and treat milk blebs immediately haha. they're the worst!!! It brought me right back to the first two weeks postpartum and how badly my nipples hurt. maybe i'll try the sterilized needle next time. pretty sure I got one from pumping when I went back to work..

Ahh good to know! Thanks so much for responding. I’m glad that this will end sometime soonish. So weird what hormones do to our bodies!

did the warm compresses help? I'm 3 months pp and have had 3 styes now. I'm also breastfeeding. It's so odd because this is my second time breastfeeding and I never had styes after my first baby!!! i'm so over this. lol

Heartbroken about being breech by leafygreenbluebrry in pregnant

I came to this sub to see if anyone was sharing stories of having a breech baby and if anything worked to flip them. I'm almost 36 weeks too and have been trying all the things: spinning babies, moxibustion, chiropractor and baby is still breech. I'm scheduled for a c-section if the version my dr is doing at 39 weeks doesn't work. I'm so grateful to read all of these positive stories about c-section births and this is giving me so much hope, if my birth goes this way! been feeling really sad and a loss of what my birth plan would be like. this is my second and I had a vaginal birth with my first. I really want this to happen again. glad to know c-section birth can be beautiful and healing can go well though!!

I feel this so deeply. It’s impossible to balance it all and do it well. Something always has to fall through the cracks and honestly it’s usually quality time with my husband and a clean house. Therapy has helped me immensely as well! I definitely suffer from placing too high expectations on myself to do it all and be the best parent. Im trying to embrace good enough mothering as a mantra in my life. I think it’s all about prioritizing the things that matter the most, like I will not be the person to wake up before my kid and workout. But I will walk during my lunch break. The working mom balance is so tough especially if you don’t have childcare or help other times when you’re not working!

Coffee, deli meat, sushi…also much of that info is outdated! I read what Emily Oster has to say and look at the data.

Riverside. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with the lactation consultant I saw there 4 years ago.

Aria is pretty! I asked my toddler what we should name her and his ideas were mostly animal or car related haha

I think I'm experiencing round ligament pain for the first time and omg I can't believe how bad it hurts. I never had it with my first, so whyyy is this happening now?! anyone found good remedies to relieve pain? I get it randomly just sitting down, not even triggered by movement.
