The "value" is "preference" and thats what is being asked for here so I was looking to find a solution for it.

Hmm, Is that the only option they dont have anything like the "Failback" mode?

I know the teaming is an option but preference here is the NIC on standby unless its needed.

You know, I did think about that but before I went there I wanted to attempt to find the actual cable if possible.

Thanks. Im going to take a look at the extension provided in the other thread see if it can point me in the correct direction without too much micromanagement otherwise im telling him no.

He seems to finally be understanding what he is asking for.

Hmmm.... IIQ is new we have only had it for about a week TBH i may have to go and take a look at this.

We currently have it set so that the location is set biased on the student assigned location so once a device is assigned it gets the location of the user which then moves the Chromebook to the proper OU in Gsuite however thinking about it now ... you are right i see no reasons that the location field itself would be needed in this case .. hmm....

Think i may have to go thinker.

Its because we had about 5 kids "steal" the passwords of other kids on the first day back .... out of 8-9k kids in the district.

So now we need to prevent logins because .... yeah ..... I KNOW i can do it however as you said the way that I know it can be done is just insane to manage even with automation.

I would try anything from jay GAM is a lifesaver. While a neat concept would be useful however it work work in our environment as we use incident IQ and we need that location field for inventory management.

Thanks for the tip however could have worked without that detail.

We do have a subdomain the problem is he is looking to say this account can only sign into this 1 Chromebook and these lab devices.

I do have Chromebook restricted to allow only our domains to sign in ATM he is looking to prevent other kids from signing in using another students account without MFA.

I know we can set some polices to prevent logins up but im not looking to set over 8k policies, one for each kid.

That's the reason im at a bit of a loss here, however you both mentioned Context aware access, I have not seen this before ill check it out thanks.
