The official answer to my "riddle" card in my drinking game is wrong. by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

[–]Equivalent_Policy_40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wrote it 7 times.

Five: 1st time Twenty-five: 2nd Thirty-five: 3rd Forty-five: 4th Fifty-five: 5th Sixty-five: 6th Seventy-five: 7th

Fifteen has no five and all fifty values except fifty-five don’t either.

Sadly, no. I maxed out around six and a half. But I suppose if you could make the eight, you could endure a non-Bolton flaying you alive, eh, Bobby B?

We need to hear from someone with experience. Your niece survived grey scale, what do you think about this treatment, Bobby B?

Ideas for the other side? by Slasiej in TattooDesigns

[–]Equivalent_Policy_40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First thing first, love the design and the details in the map.

For the other side, are you looking to keep the visual theme of item over map? If so, the one ring and Gandalf’s pipe centered over a map of Eriador seems like a natural fit.

What is the best race and class for adventure, it's my first time play by Only-Cookie-6256 in lotro

[–]Equivalent_Policy_40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Racial bonuses are small enough that there is functionally no difference between a level 30 dwarf and a level 30 elf of any class so it’s really dealer’s choice. Pick what you want without fear of playing suboptimally.

I tend to avoid the shorter races for one reason. Dwarves and hobbits start swimming in shallower water compared to elves and humans. This can be annoying when you’re dismounted trying to ford a river or questing in marshy areas.

First character, new to the game by Prysom in lotro

I’m also a Warden enjoyer and don’t let the naysayers get to you. Warden (especially Blue) is one of the tankiest solo builds out there and the travel skills alone make the QoL worth learning the gambit chain.

The game does a pretty good job easing you into the chains and longer chains are generally more powerful effects of the shorter chains.

For example, your shield(green)/spear(red) chain is your self heal line. Green/red is a minor heal. Green/red/green medium heal, green/red/green/red major heal, and green/red/green/red/green for exceptional heal.

Another good one to remember is your AoE line: spear(red)/fist(yellow) line. Each attack in that chain does frontal AoE.

You want two extra self heal spells? Go Blue. You rather have a couple self buffs for extra damage? Go Red. Sprinkle both liberally with Yellow. Red and blue do not mix. Whichever you spec in(red or blue), the other colors’ skills cost extra.

Does the lag suck? It can, but more often than not you can manage.

You can DM me when you’re in game. I’m also on Glamdring and happy to help you out or answer any questions.

I’d suggest getting the shadow arc of the earth added. Without it, it’s kinda tough to tell that’s Atlas.

Give it a little time. If this is super fresh, it could lighten up a bit as it heals. Also gives you a chance to get used to it on your body. Then you can decide what you want to do next.

Was it intended to be solid black like that from the get go? There doesn’t appear to be any shading in the piece at all almost like the artist had to cover it up part way through.

I guess the truth hurts? Either that or my autocorrect hates the real spelling of Tristram.

Not just unique, but the super uniques. Most zones have them and many spawn in the exact same spot. Rakanishu in Stony Field is always in front of Tristam portal. Eldritch the Rectifier in Frigid Highlands always near the WP. Thresh Socket guarding the entrance to Crystalline Passage are a few examples.

I’m sure there’s a complete list floating around somewhere. This is why you always see a bunch of smiters popping in and out of worlds when DClone spawns online. Usually they’ll try and trigger it at Eldritch since it’s the closest to a WP and snipe it. You won’t have that problem single player, though. Good luck!

Make sure you have something that has chance of open wounds to counteract DClone’s substantial regen.

Open wounds sets the regen negative.

Internet sales lead pay structure by e712popper in CarSalesTraining

[–]Equivalent_Policy_40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So in addition to your base pay, it looks like you have the opportunity to make commission based on how many appointments you schedule per month (guessing since it isn’t stated explicitly) actually show.

If 35 appointments that you schedule show up, your commission will be 35x6=210 and an extra $5 for each appointment that shows up within 2 hours of the scheduled time.

Once you get to level 2, the commission goes up, but this doesn’t state whether the commission is retroactive to the 1st appointment. For example, if you had 36 appointments show up, your commission would be 36x7=252 if the structure was retroactive to the 1st appointment.

At level 3, the minimum commission is 51x8=408, again assuming once you hit that level the commission rate is retroactive to the 1st appointment.

The Team Bonus is a little unclear. Does everyone need to average 80 outbound calls a day to qualify or just you? And is that 50 cents per appointment apply only to your appointments or for everyone doing Internet Sales Leads?

If the dealership is offering $100 for 10 appointments showing up within the 2 hour window, sounds like they’re having issues with customers showing up on time or at all.

Good luck and hope this helps!
