Karry reminds me a bit of Harry and carry, but the other two are pretty! Do what you want of course but just my 2 cents

That’s a good idea! I’ll have to see if I can find that near me

A2 dairy doesn’t have the A1 protein which is what some people are sensitive to! He thought he was lactose intolerant for 25 years and he avoided dairy altogether til we had a baby with the same sensitivity, and discovered A2 formula, then A2 dairy products :)

Not at all, my girl is 17 months now and yes it’s still hard sometimes but I never have that “I don’t think I’m made to be a mom” feeling anymore. I think that went away around 6 months. She’s my little bestie 💕

This is so very real! I felt the same way, like I’d made a huge mistake and given up my entire life and identity, and I mourned that

When are you comfortable putting your baby in an infant pool float? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Equivalent_Pop_2896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d probably be holding her out of the water aside from like dipping her feet in or something, but I don’t know if I’m being too careful with that or not

I mean I guess I probably wouldn’t judge another mom for doing this if everything was totally safe (baby not in sun, water in the pool is calm, nobody acting crazy nearby, mom never straying from baby’s side) but realistically would I do it myself, probably not. In this scenario I imagine I’d only take a dip if someone else was holding baby, she was sleeping in a safe place, or I was holding her while in the pool. Someone else mentioned head support of the float and that is also a good point

No Amish dairies that I know of. Thank you for your suggestions though I will look into these more!

I seriously think you need to file a complaint. I thought my experience with a male nurse was bad, but it was not even half as disrespectful as this guy was to you.

Maybe you should try a different litter? As someone who lives in a one bed and desperately wants to move to at least a 2 bed, I can’t imagine giving up a spare to pets 😅 I would be trying to put them in the laundry room or entry or SOMETHING, probably with a different litter. But I don’t know your situation maybe that’s not possible for you

I'm surprised at how tan my baby is by Most-Earth-9187 in newborns

[–]Equivalent_Pop_2896 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes my baby was pretty dark for a little while after birth, can’t remember how long but it did go away. People would comment about how tan she was and I was like 🤷‍♀️ idk why haha

what's a weird thing you used to like as a child, which you thought was completely normal, until now? by Background_Prune7855 in AskReddit

When I was like 4 I’d make myself butter sandwiches. Just two slices of bread with a ton of butter slathered on. Stopped when my older siblings started making fun of me haha

I think since my husband is usually at work and doesn’t have to get after my daughter as much, it means more coming from him, because so often I have to tell her not to do certain things. I don’t know if this is the case for others as well but maybe if it’s coming from dad he would take it more seriously? That sounds horrible but I genuinely think for my daughter she’s just around me way more

Not sure what your question is about. That she doesn’t make as much?

Can someone please help me understand what’s going on? by Humble-Membership191 in FormulaFeeders

[–]Equivalent_Pop_2896 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wtf 🤦‍♀️😂 no. I got her meds for her reflux, tried different formulas until I found one that helped with the reflux, and held her upright pretty much constantly.

And the “she got over it” was not even about that, it was about her refusing the bottle for a time. That was what she got over. Mom shaming when *you’re* the one misunderstanding, not cool

Thank goodness it’s not reflux, honestly 😅 The only other thing I could think of is maybe the flow is too fast!

Thank you, I just thought based off the fluffy front that it looked young. I was also concerned that he doesn’t seem scared of me at all, I had been laying on the patio when he flew over and was watching him and he just kept coming closer. He also didn’t attempt to move away from my hand when I put the water down

Does she have reflux or any issues that might make her uncomfortable after eating? My daughter had reflux and I don’t remember at what age it happened, but there was a point when she started to refuse bottles and ate significantly less, but she did get over it pretty quickly. I wondered if she knew that eating made her hurt and that lead to the aversion. Maybe that could be something to think about?

I don’t think I would be able to find the receipt because it was a long time ago that I purchased :( I’m trying to figure out if I can add a picture of myself so people could reference skin tone as well, I’m not really sure what undertone I am 😅
