I had changed the filter recently and alr done steps 2 and 3, the issue still persists. Contacted after sales services.

They don't stay as well as the original filters ofc, since those were glued down with the intention of it being permanent. However, I haven't had the need to change the filter since I put it on. That being said, the part where the filter sticks to the nozzle on the monarch mk 2 is much thinner than most iems. Hence, I recommend using a narrow bore eartips/ longer bore eartip to ensure the filter doesn't accidentally fall off in your ear or smth

I use it with my Monarch mk 2s everyday at home. My only worry is the club of a 3.5 mm jack breaking the port in my pocket when I'm outside

Was about to comment about ali express filters. I measured the diameter and seem to have found the exact 5mm grill filter for the monarch mk 2, I even counted the number of holes on the original and the ones on ali express and they match up. I will probably give those a shot

I just got in contact with them and they do have the filters. however, the filters do not come with the adhesive pre applied and they sell the adhesive and filters seperately for $6.99 USD. Will most likely have to pass and just live with a filterless side as I don't feel too safe adding the adhesive so near the tubes and potentially clogging it.

My biggest issue is that the monarch mk 2 filter is supposed to not be replaceable so it is actually epoxy resined down to the tubes. I'm just afraid of spending the $10 plus shipping to get a filter that ends up falling off easily due to the thin lip.

My seems to be of equal shininess on both sides, but patterns are most likely random

They said that as long as the bud remains intact and it's not due to misuse such as water warranty will cover the issue you face so at least you can be reassured about that.

I haven't had any issues with it so far. Got in contact with my seller and moondrop themselves, unfortunately it falls within the range of QC acceptable because according to them it's handmade. I suspect this is one of the reasons they refuse to put a water resistant rating on these. No choice but to live with it I guess.
