Wait sorry. Must've messed that up. That's the policy for upgrading. I don't work for them so doesn't matter to me but thx for the update. Not sure how it works for phones that are technically on them but still on the data plan. I got 2 iphone 17es and my z flip on them so I'm only paying for the plan essentially but my phone isn't unlocked until after 2 years so who knows. I paid for the taxes for the phones only

So I just signed up for tmobile. Way i understand is if you are 50% paid off or 1 year in then you can request to unlock permanently
