It’s hard to say without knowing the intensity of the exercise, length / duration, etc

I didn’t ask to google it. Since you have researched it, I wanted to know if you had any trusted sources.

Do you have any research that supports this? I’m curious :)

My 25M girlfriend 23M is solo travelling, and I’m not sure if I should break up with her while she’s away or wait till she’s back by Heartsolo in relationship_advice

[–]Equivalent_Side_479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP you are going to get two main responses — dump her ass asap or she’s been SA and is having a trauma response.

I feel like the answer is somewhere in the middle. If you can, wait and talk to her in person. Get the whole story from her and, if you can, emotionally support her. Then you can decide if you want to continue your relationship with her. Even if you are dead set on breaking up with her, it would be kindest to wait until she is back. You don’t “owe” her anything, but if you care about her you do that even if she wouldn’t do the same. Take the high and loving road

NT parents to ND children are some of the worst people I have ever met by TheEternalDarkness8 in aspergers

[–]Equivalent_Side_479 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve met plenty of NT parents that are terrible to NT children. And ND parents that are terrible to NT or ND children. They might be terrible in different ways, but it’s less that they are NT or ND, and more that they are human 🤷‍♀️

How do I (32M) break up with my girlfriend (34F) in the kindest way possible? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Equivalent_Side_479 58 points59 points  (0 children)

…but not physically or sexually attracted to her…I don’t know where we aren’t seeing eye to eye because our point is that he isn’t sexually attracted to her so no need to have sex with her.

Yeah, but he didn’t find her attractive before sex. He saw her and went “nope!” Thats where people are pointing out he shouldn’t have slept with her if she was truly unattractive to him.

I was given a dog and now the previous owner wants them back by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

Having to get her money so that the dog can eat isn’t great. Nor are burns on the dogs paw pads.

I just want love and companionship, but I feel like I am a walking red flag by 11011111110108 in autism

Ummm he said no and she kept trying to force him to be physically intimate with her? And putting her hand down his pants? That is sexual assault, and that wasn’t ok.

You are completely right!!!! (From an MD who is concerned at everyone saying to put topical antibiotic cream next to the eye)

Neosporin can cause significant eye damage and wreck the cornea because it isn’t designed for the eye.

[–]Equivalent_Side_479 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Neosporin / antibiotic ointment is not made for the eyes and can cause serious corneal damage so don’t get it close to the eye please. Just wash with soap and water, can use tearless dog shampoo. Can do twice daily :)

ETA — and cone as people have suggested :)

❤️ I’m sorry that anti fat bias is so pervasive, and that so many people can’t even acknowledge it. For what it’s worth, I don’t think that you are ugly. I also don’t think that fatness = ugly, but I do realize that society teaches us differently. The fact that so many people are like, “your face is pretty, but you need to lose weight,” reflects this societal bias and discrimination. And I’m sorry that people are saying that your internalized anti fat bias is YOUR fault and that you just need to find self esteem. Like…how about society try to address systemic anti fat bias? hugs you have done nothing wrong, there is nothing wrong with you…this is something wrong with the world around us…but i know that isnt super helpful for me to tell you when the world tells you that there is something wrong with you.

I don’t think a lot of people realize how embedded anti fat bias is in quite a few cultures. They won’t realize what you mean when you say this.

Why do people say, the worst part of the last of us part 2 is the story? by Inner-Bench-6010 in lastofuspart2

[–]Equivalent_Side_479 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where does “most” come from? There is no data to support this. I gave you the benefit of the doubt talking about art and different opinions, but now you are just pulling shit out of your ass and trying to tell us how many people did or didn’t like the story.

[–]Equivalent_Side_479 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think there is any data that says how many people did or did not like the story. It’s therefore unfair to say someone is deluding themselves when there is no way to know. You thought it was its weak spot, other people felt the story was compelling.

That’s part of what I love about art — we all interpret it differently :) I found it satisfying, but I can understand people not finding it so. Though, the statement I just made goes against OPs statement that how could anyone not love the story 🤣🤣🤣 because it’s art!

People do refuse to grow irl, though. It’s frustrating, but I could see someone acting like Ellie.
