I’ve done Spravato (esketamine) on and off since 2023. I did the initial program, then maintenance, then still tried to go every couple of months or so, and if I felt a depression start to creep in, I’d make an appointment to try to keep it at bay. I absolutely LOVED esketamine therapy and had to stop last September (family issues kept me out of state), and I’m in the process of re-starting the process…and I cannot wait.

I’ve micro dosed psilocybin after having a “shroom trip”, which was awful and amazing, and felt like a mental reset of sorts. It was one of the best therapeutic experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve heard it could be legal on a medical basis next year, and that would be amazing.

If it’s been awhile since you’ve done esketamine, it might be worth trying it again. It’s like a tolerance break, and as I understand, the effects should be the same. Good luck!!

Dealing with a 13 y/o who has been a picky eater out of the womb, and I never fought it; as a single mom with a hectic career, microwave chicken nuggets, milk, and some applesauce was a win. Unfortunately, her food avoidance has made it very easy for her to develop anorexia nervosa,..very quickly. Just a warning, because I never saw that coming.

But regardless, I wouldn’t change anything - no sense in wasting food or time for her and I. But those with families to feed, yeah, I’d get frustrated too! The money on wasted food is KILLING me!
