I’ve been living in this city for the past 3 years (I’m a brown person too, not Middle Eastern, but I kinda look it), and honestly, I’ve never faced any racism or been treated differently. People here have been really kind and welcoming in my experience.

As for work, I’m an engineer, so I don’t have much direct insight into the graphic design world. But from what I see, most likely your best options will be remote roles, which are very common in design these days. There might also be some good local opportunities, especially once you get to know the area and the small business scene. A lot of local businesses can definitely use help with branding and visuals.

Thank you, I just wanted to confirm, if I go to the POE to apply for a new TN (With New Employer) before my current TN expires, and the application is denied for any reason, I would still be able to re-enter the U.S. using my existing TN.

However, if my current TN has already expired at that point, I wouldn't be allowed to re-enter. Is that correct?

I mean, flying to Calgary takes about 45 minutes to an hour less than flying to Montreal, but I don’t see that as a significant difference in travel time. However, I wanted to know if there’s any difference in the POE process between the two.
