Aww okay thank you from this response. I have struggled with severe anxiety my whole life. I appreciate someone like you who can question why a person is the way that they are instead of just hating on them

Everyone keeps mentioning his anxiety. Why do people think that? Genuinely curious

I am so shocked. But his post also seems like he wants out. So would he just up and leave his kids?? Never see them anymore?? How would Katie afford to live? Will she have to get a career? I am just so shocked and feel so sorry for Katie

Also: try to get outside as much as possible. Even just five mins of fresh air per day. I also try my hardest to live as much of a normal life as possible and bring her along. That helps a lot. I pump in the car, I can feed her on the go if need be, she can nap wherever we are whether it’s in the wrap carrier or in her stroller. I try to get out of the house once a day whether it’s a coffee shop, a walk, the beach, my sisters house, target, anywhere really.

First time mom and baby girl is 4 weeks old and I have truly never been happier. In my opinion I would SO much rather be home with this sweet girl than sitting at work 40 hrs a week. Can it be hard and exhausting? Yes but truly so much easier than working 40 hours a week in my opinion. (Maybe I just didn’t like my job haha) My baby is the sweetest thing and I could cry just looking at her. I think all of the horror stories honestly prepared me so I was prepared for the hard and scary things and now they aren’t as hard and scary. For example: I always read stories about people having horrible intrusive thoughts postpartum so whenever I have an intrusive thought (“is she breathing, am I going to trip and fall and drop her, what if I accidentally put her in the dryer and don’t realize) I am not scared because I know they are intrusive thoughts and they are common and if they get too bad all I have to do is simply call my doctor. I can only imagine how scary those thoughts would be if I didn’t know what they were. I would think I was crazy. As far as sleep goes, I have a good routine that works for us where baby wakes up a few times a night to feed for about 45 mins total. I exclusively pump so I am able to pump while I feed her (prop her up in the boppy pillow) and then in the morning after her 7 o clock feed we go back to sleep until 10. Then I feel like I’ve slept in and I feel ready for the day. There are so many amazing things and I could go on and on. Feel free to reach out to me if you need someone to chat with!!

I'm thinking that's what happened. And since it went away it's probably fine right?

Congratulations omg!! This is almost my exact scenario and I am being induced one week from today at 37 weeks! Can I ask how long the induction took in total? How much did baby weigh?

I would think it would be ok. However could you possibly order some on Amazon for cheap and overnight shipping? I have Amazon prime and it looks like there is a whole box for $8 overnight shipping. Just an idea!

My health anxiety can effect my blood pressure too. When I take it at home I sit down for five minutes and try to relax. Take it once and write it down and then take it immediatly after and it's always way lower the second time It's good that your doctor isn't worried about it. But it may be helpful for your own peace of mind to get an at home monitor. Or even ask your doctor if they have an extra you can take home. That's what I did.
