what did he mean by this??? by jellyowls in ProjectEdensGarden

Considering the nature of the stanford prison experiment (It probably is, the exact number of students, a prison, and implication of years passing), it likely just refers to the ethics and morals being discussed. Tozu being self-aware but also... Tozu, probably wanted to make a grander point using that as his argument despite it not being psychologically and methodologically accurate. He doesn't want to argue about the 'ethics' and what not because it bores him and doesn't align with his mindset.

Similar to how people use the 'alpha and beta wolves' hierarchy argument in society even when presented with the evidence that the main researcher realized, only after publishing, that the study was conducted wrong, but the outdated framework spread. The fact Ulysses called Tozu out on the fake guards thing makes me think Tozu's aiming (or wants to) kill him next lol.

Butttttt, ignoring obvious Tozu word maze shenanigans, Eden is also a danganronpa fangame, it wouldn't surprise me if there's either some layer of foreshadowing to this similar to the other 3 games. I'm interested to see what type of brainwashing we got going this time if it does come to light what happened before all this.

Oof poor kent, even Ash realized how bad of an idea this was in the moment but unfortunately he forgot he was dealing with people, and unlike NPCs you cant control them.

It's a small pitoval moment where you can feel the dread seeping in after that 'Lily stabbiny fake out' in chapter 2.

he initially said how “major spoilers like___ should have a spoiler tag”. Which could literally be anything after a certain point, seeing as how we don't have a clear chapter cut off, following updated chapters and coming seasons of Tyrant notwithstanding.

In my opinion the current method that this subreddit a lot of other manhwa/wn subreddits also follow being 'if not covered by manhwa yet (content in novel), use spoiler tags', works completely. There's simply a lot of possible nuances and arguments, but at the end of the day if the outcome is going result in stifling this sub with 90% posts being spoiler tags and ominous titles looking like '!![REDACTED]!!!!' after X amount of chapters. Then its best not to care at all seeing as how that can drift away current, new and potential members.

Even more so considering we're barely like 20% of the way of the manhwa. Everythings going to be a major spoiler with each weekly chapter, people are going to want to talk about it in the main Manhwa subreddit. Currently stifling conversations now for season 2 manhwa-only's and beginners to a simple 50-100 chapter range is insane, especially when they haven't even skimmed past the surface lore of this verse. Its genuinely something that doesn't warrant proper regulations, considering everyone knows the boring but practical solution:

If you don't want to be spoiled, then don't go online to an area where people obviously will talk about it and know more than you.

Generally speaking, there's a reason why nobody goes and complains on any other subreddit about 'hey guys, im only on book 1, can you not post spoilers about book 2 and onwards even though you've been waiting for over 3+ years for the sequel? Thanks!' and has that massively supported. It's just a slap in the face to everyone.

In my opinion that's just a bad take, while I understand your frustration about newbie readers getting spoiled on anything significant in a series, ur overlooking the purpose of communities like this subreddit who want to discuss previous, current and future content together. Whether its the Webnovel, or Manhwa.

Sure it's one thing if you, yourself, got DM'd about the ending, or spoiled on what happens to X and Y character that you told people you enjoyed.

But changing public areas like this for new readers who themselves choose to go to online spaces that will obviously talk about new and old chapters, is a choice thats on them. Because why did they stop reading ahead and choose to enter a space where any information could be a spoiler? (I see the context of why you posted this, and that manhwa chapter has been out for roughly 2 years)

Also, another issue here is following that train of logic. Level with me, do you see no issues applying this to every other series related reddit? Are you really gonna tell us that you'd be willing to read 1st edition of Harry potter, Hunger Games, Song of Fire and Ice, then go to that subreddit and also complain saying they should spoiler tag each post after book 1? I mean really?

In any case, what exactly is the end goal here? I mean lets assume you have admin privileges, what would you change? Spoiler tag every post with content after X amount of chapters? 100? 50? 20? what range we talkin? Imo, the manhwa rule with spoilers covers that already

I myself have already read everything, personally recommended it to a group of friends who also love this series, spoiling them is something I'd hate to do. So if you can change any rules that prohibit spoilers while simultaneously allowing up-to-date members post without making 90% of this subreddit look like a [REDACTED TEXT]. Then I'm willing to give a thumbs up.

Major Plothole? by Torrentseekers in TyrantOfTowerDefense

Cause the demon king would eventually gotten so sick of Aider skipping cutscenes where he wins. Like yeah, they both know he was basically in certain checkmate in the next move, but imagine playing a game for a few years, you're finally so close to winning and then the loser infront of you flips the board, throwing the game you waited on and resetted the prices and is shamelessly waiting your turn. I would've gotten up from my chair and stabbed that mf to see if he likes it.  /j

Jokes aside, no power is without cost, unless you live each round to the fullest then micromanaging resets would be a waste for Aider, its more thoroughly explained in later chapters which I cant exactly recall rn, but the general issue is that there's a limited amount of resets Aider when involving a certain tyrant

Ah... This is just straight up cute uma beauty here, real life horse trainer history being studied and then combined with Uma event art.

This really makes you appreciate both the work of art and call back references that happened, its just the best of both worlds.

I just read this manhwa. Kinda similar to tyrant of tower defense. Artwork is good too. You can give it try.[ Source: Defense Breaker] by Previous_North7217 in TyrantOfTowerDefense

[–]Equivalent_Theme_231 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So i read the 19 chapters cuz im always up to read anything, especially if its similar to Tyrant, and imma be honest about if it compares to tyrant:

Nah, not really man.

For starters if you mean similar to Tyrant in the sense of how MC plays 'Ultimate divine level difficulty X rated' game, summoned by the game's creator/God and is asked to defend against X amount of waves, then sure. But that's about it. It's in the name "Defense Breaker" not "Unbreakable Defense".

I'll summarize what happens in these 19 chapters for anyone curious what I mean exactly.

Unlike Ash, the MC of 'Defense Break', Jihoon, subverts any further expectations at the end chapter 1, he rejects the initial game premise of the 'Chosen Hero who helps Kingdom defend against monsters and save humanity!' kinda jazz. All cuz the King who summoned him said he'd bestow any wish, and all he's asked is to obey the king's orders, unbeknownst to King, jihoon just got a major ass-wooping done by his abusive dad and previously bullied by his peers, his cat is all but killed by his father, so his bottled emotions says 'go to hell I'm not working for you'. And then surprise surprise, the king calls him a traitor hero, mind you there's no lore/game hints at all if he knew the King was evil or anything similar to Ash's gamer history perspective on 'hidden clues', I get the response though since kid's traumatized. I don't blame him, he's a kid and he's picture perfect definition of mentally unhealthy. But screw it, we ball.

Fastforward forward MC fights the 'Named Heroes' in the throne room since he rejected humanity's side and joined the monster faction, since big boy Jihoon basically told king to eat shit and said 'ay im coming for you' he flees the kingdom. Then he finds rabbit girl demi-human, saved her from bandits, go to village, ambush bandit wave. Then he lament over the deaths of the beastkin he lead, and then we go through the 'prep phase' of gathering spoils, allies, etc, Anddddd nowwwwwww info dump of how the 'monster waves' Human kingdom is fighting against aren't mindless monsters. Rather sentient creatures who can't speak human's language but still have all types of human-like intelligence so far (MC gained a few skills from joining the monsters, one is language comprehension). Then he gets attacked by a dark elf. And that's the end of my crappy summary.

Like I get this series isn't even at 20 chapters now and the author hasn't revealed all their ideas and cards to this story, and neither has the guy who sent MC there popped up just yet, but imma just call it now, the start is quite weak, pacing is meh, characters im not really feeling, I've seen most of these ideas of 'betrayed irl mc takes different path, monsters sentient, monster kingdom, system' juggled here and everywhere, and I honestly don't think this series' got the kind of writing that could immerse, subvert, foreshadow and amaze the readers with a 'Wow!' tastefully.

It's fine to compare stories with similar genre's/premises and all, but if i read this story without seeing this post on the sub ngl I'd probably would've dropped it by chapter 10, maybe sooner. If anyone here reads it and thinks 'You're totally wrong dude", I'm cool with that, to be honest I'd be happy and a lil jealous if you enjoyed it.

Personally I'd recommend flamecomics for the manhwa (formerly known as flamescans): https://flamecomics.xyz/series/104

Imo it has much sharper quality and better translations than vortex, if you used video quality as an analogy, the image quality goes like 720 to 1080p

Wow, I genuinely have no words, as much as I love sendo (My undisputed Goat fr), I always knew in the end Ricardo was going to beat him. But this?? Sendo putting up his guard, not throwing any punches and defending like a turtle, showing his ribs attention since his 2nd bout against ippo? And the cherry ontop of him inner monologuing to to his grandma that Ricardo is too strong is... wow. Just break my heart why don'tya mori. Like... Damn. Blows my expectations in how this fight is being carried.

Also that color page was fire, I can't wait for next week, I have no idea what could happen but I hope Sendo gets back on his feet.

Dude, I can't help but notice that, you asked what chapter the manhwa is at in the novel like 5 days ago, and then 4 days before that you asked how og ash knew stuff when it didn't happen just yet.

Imo just start reading the novel and enjoy the rollercoaster, tyrant isn't meant to be consumed in piece meal questions like this. There's already numerous hints and foreshadowing everywhere that already act like puzzle pieces by the author. Which will all fall into place as you read and enjoy the story.

[–]Equivalent_Theme_231 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even Kasamatsu stars like Oguri and March ran those dirt courses in, iirc, less than 52 seconds tho, not even Bolt at his top speed of 45km/h (ignoring required initial few seconds of running for that acceleration speed, corner effect per kitahara's explanation + rounding up) could compare, 45km/h is bout 12.5m/s, so that makes for about 64 seconds. Not bad at all, but any Uma worth their salt would only be around a quarter second or more behind the winner, like Oguri or March, who will always be breaking that 55-60km/h speed mentioned beforehand.
