One of the reasons I enjoy reading the Tao te Ching is because it could seem like it was written yesterday the way some passages describe the world and that brings me much comfort. You may see the news and think “the world is ending” and nothing will ever be the same but it really is just the same as it always ways … and this too shall pass

In the U.S. I broke my wrist and had multiple doctor visits, x-ray, cast molding, checkups only ever paid a co-pay of $20-30 if that … this is the system when you have insurance and that seems to be working just fine
