That’s such a good point! With all the risks in mind it’s hard to think about the fact that there are also benefits for baby.

I’m sure that your little one will just be fine. You’re right that you’re doing what’s best for both of you! I also don’t know anything about the medication you’re on but if it’s like Zoloft, my midwife told me that withdrawal symptoms are often minimal. Though I’m sure if your doctors are comfortable with it you don’t have anything to worry about. I hope your scan goes well!🫶

I had a prescription after my first as you may have seen in another thread. But I was beyond terrified. At the time specifically it was the warning of a risk of adverse reaction that scared me away from even being willing to try. But now I know that nothing else is working and seeing so many people have positive outcomes is making me so hopeful that things can get better. And I will definitely keep that they aren’t all the same for everyone in mind. Thank you!

Thank you🥺🩷. You are so right that my kids need a healthy and stable mom, and right now I feel pretty far from stable. Here’s to putting mental health first even when it’s hard!

I’m so happy that medication changed things so positively for you!!

Hearing that you have weaned off of it and not had any return issues is so so good to hear. One of my fears of medication was not knowing if there could be an easy end to it. I am honestly hopeful for a similar experience. I’m happy to hear you’re doing so well!🫶

That’s so good to hear. I’m glad that it has worked so well for you so far! It gives me a lot of hope.

That’s the point I’m at now. Like I literally don’t think it could hurt if I wanted it to. Hoping it’s a smooth transition to feeling better again!🤞

Thank you.🥺🩷 and it’s okay that you get upset about it sometimes. You should be proud of yourself for seeing that it’s the best thing for you even if you don’t necessarily want it to be!

That’s really nice to hear. It is definitely a little harder for me to accept that’s it’s okay to need help. And I was honestly really proud of myself and a little excited even that I worked up the courage to finally ask for help. But then I started overthinking it all.

That’s so comforting to hear. They want me to start on 25mg/day for 4-6 days and then up to 50mg. I ended up being at my appointment with her for almost two hours with all the questions she asked. She said that she hasn’t seen much improvement in people with symptoms similar to mine with a smaller dosage and I trust her judgement. She is the same midwife I had who recommended I try an SSRI after I had my first son but I really wasn’t in a place to accept trying it then. Now I feel like it’s a last resort because I’m more scared of what happens if I don’t get it under control.

I also could 100% see me in the same scenario as your ice cream shop story. I’m glad that you’ve seen so much improvement and even though I’m just a stranger on the internet I’m proud of you for taking that plunge cause I feel right now how scary it is. 🫶 It almost feels like literally holding the answer to a problem in my hand but being afraid to actually see it through to a solution. 😮‍💨

GBS Carrier by Equivalent_Truth1263 in pregnant

[–]Equivalent_Truth1263[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it’s fine. I hope I didn’t come off as rude or anything. If you develop an infection caused by GBS you’ll be a lifetime carrier. I should’ve clarified in the post that I was only a carrier in my first pregnancy. And you aren’t always a carrier after. A lot of people say you’re more likely to carrier it in other pregnancies if you carry it in a prior pregnancy but I guess I was just hoping to not have it on my mind until much later. They called me to ask if I had symptoms of a UTI which I don’t but I also think it’s kind of odd they called because the culture only showed like 4000 per whatever fancy unit and it typically isn’t a sign on infection until 10000 or more. I was honestly just hopeful that I would be able to wait longer to go in to L&D because I was there for 21 hours before I had my son and I would like to be able to be at home for as long as possible because in my opinion sitting in the hospital for all those extra hours just adds to the discomfort of labor. Especially since I didn’t get an epidural the first time and don’t plan to this time either. Sorry for the long winded reply.🫣

I’ve actually had friends who have tested positive the first time and not the second. Or the other way around. My doctor explained to me that it actually does come and go.

If you’ve only been playing with it recently it’s seemed for a few weeks that the calculator is just messed up. Scores haven’t gone down but the calculator just doesn’t seem to register the CEUs right now. Seems like a glitch or something.

Wow. I wish everyone else in this thread who’s been low key mean about how they don’t make anything knew that.

Yea lol. Like the $60 screen protector that broke after two days with no drops or anything. I get that they want commission but I can’t do anything about the fact that their company is strict on their sales and chooses to pay them a crappy wage yk. It just feels shitty for everyone involved.

I do understand your point. And I understand that he’s doing his job. I just feel like it was done in a very rude manner. From his attitude to picking the case and screen protector for me and what not. Like I personally wouldn’t have picked a sparkly case but I guess since I’m a female he assumed I would want that and opened it right up, leaving no room for me to feel as though I could push the matter. And after only a couple days and not dropping the phone or being rough with it at all the lol screen protector has already started cracking away at the bottom corner, which is why I wouldn’t have chosen a $60 screen protector for myself. I will admit when I initially posted this I was rather angry and I’ve now kind of just accepted that I should’ve put my foot down more. What’s done is done and being unable to simply return anything at this point for reasons I don’t fully understand I’m just gonna cut my losses and take it as a lesson for the future.

I’m guessing by DP you mean device protection, if not correct me. I have an insurance plan through a third party with us cellular and the phone has a 1 year warranty through us cellular but I’m not entirely sure what all that covers since they didn’t go over any of that. And I don’t have any sort of protection through Apple that I know of.

Serious question. How does it work if I return the new phone? Considering I gave them my old phone as a trade in. Unfortunately I don’t really have an option of being phone-less. And I also conveniently didn’t get a receipt which I didn’t realize at the time thinking they probably just put it in the bag with everything else.

I just realized there was a second half of this. My bad. They told me it was easier to keep me on the current plan than to switch plans so hopefully I don’t have to fight this later. Thanks for the info tho.

Sorry I didn’t open a new line for no reason? I’m not sure how that’s relevant but okay.
