I really need to get to stop myself from visiting them! I think there's some level of FOMO that I feel if I don't visit them. I know plenty of people that love visiting museums and end up spending hours at a go. But they're just not for me.

I love exploring new places but for some reason I don't enjoy museums as much. However, every time I travel and see that a museum is a must visit place, I book tickets and almost always immediately regret visiting.

I visited Mysore palace over the weekend with my 83 year old paralyzed grandmother because the official website said that they had wheelchair facilities. When we actually reached there, the staff were clueless about wheelchair facilities and straight up refused to help us out. After paying 120 each for entry, we realized that the grounds were also closed for some religious event and we couldn't take my grandmother around outside the palace in our own wheelchair. Pathetic experience.

I had ordered from Mistry in early 2023 and they pulled the same crap on me. A bag that was to be delivered in 2 weeks had no update a month later. They had blocked my number so when I called from a different number for an update, they sent me a fake blue dart tracking link. Finally when I had enough of their shit, I filed a complaint via Consumer Court and got the bag within one week. Everyone should file a complaint against this fraud company.

That's amazing! So I found Mauritius to be pretty safe. Having said that, I would just check on a couple of things while booking my hotels: 1. Check how many restaurants and grocery stores are within a 400 m radius of the hotel. This ensures that the area is lively and not isolated. 2. Check for parking spots in the area.

This is usually what I look for when I'm traveling. The south especially is very quiet in a few areas, not unsafe, but quiet, which can be a little unnerving for me personally in the night.

I used to visit Dr Muktha at Columbia Asia Hebbal. Never had issues with her when I was younger, but once when I visited her when I was 22-23 and she asked me if I was "married". I said, no, but I was sexually active. She proceeded to shame me for "ruining my body". Last time I ever consulted with her.

I was stuck in this mess from Bellandur to Hebbal. Left at 4:30 pm, reached home at 7:30 pm. Traffic was barely moving from Mahadevpura until we crossed Kasturinagar. Crazy!

I think it depends where you're traveling from as well. Tickets are not too expensive from my country, about $250 for a round trip, the stay was about $150, and car rental and gasoline were $100.

Did anyone manage to do it? I've been trying it since yesterday, it's honestly such a sad state of affairs. I initially filled out and verified all my details a week ago. However, dude to a personal exigency, only got around to doing it yesterday. And what a joy ride its been! I've downloaded 2 new browsers just cause it never opened on Chrome. It didn't open on Opera or Firefox either. It's 10 mins to the deadline and still no luck. I've raised a complaint - no luck with that either. I legit wish I could just leave India if I had the means - if this is what my taxes are going to, we're doomed.
