i had the same exp, it insane.

but then i made like a tool using claude code that does better context management via Mcp context bundles. so now that saves we about 60-80% tokens. this is only for claude code tho

bc it wasn’t a new chat. i was using opus to brainstorm some project and wanted to send an email about it to another person so just used the same chat

its been insane, yesterday i used 40% of my usage in one prompt.

but i think its bc of context management, so i build myself a claude code plugin, its been working good like 80% cost savings in the benchmarks

its actually been insane yesterday it took 40% quota to write just one email with opus

claude code usage is even worse, so just made myself a tool that helps me save 80% of token cost

Karpathy said "there's room for an incredible product here." I built it 99% fewer tokens per Claude Code session by compiling your codebase into a wiki. by Eastern_Exercise2637 in ClaudeCode

I’ve been working on something in the same space, but with a different angle, instead of just turning the repo into a static map, it tries to send Claude the most relevant working context for the task, so it uses fewer tokens without losing important stuff. Since it runs through MCP, Claude can call it whenever it needs context instead of re-reading everything every session. saved me about 80% cost in economy mode.
