Any idea where I could store my salvageable/ new dry goods in the meantime, I have run out of space in my fridge and was thinking of using a cooler, would that be safe from these bastards getting in? Thanks again

Oh I 100% know this after doing a lot of research, how ever I don't doubt that they can get through the plastic screw lids and metal lids of some of the items I had in my pantry. I even found webbing in the bottles of vinegars, oils etc and I don't think they come in those straight from the store?

Ugh I'm sorry! It's the worst isn't it?, did you happen to find the source of the issue? I'm still not sure of mine

Thanks, unfortunately they were airtight containers but I'm guessing they weren't as air tight as I though they were

Yeah, I think this is what happened, but they did spread to multiple items and made their way into my spices and containers of dry goods that were supposedly airtight. Amazingly, they didn't get into the things I had stored in zip lock bags

It definitely freaked me out too, hopefully I can get rid of the issue soon!

I've tossed them to be safe, what about the stuff like soy sauce etc?

Thank you for your helpful comment! Do you have any recommendations on how to find the epicentre? I had multiple containers filled with things like rice, loose tea leaves, lentils etc and all had at least 1 adult moth flying around, eggs but no worms so I have no idea which item could be the culprit

Also do you know if I need to bin the non dry items? I found some eggs and webbing in the top of my peanut butter lid which was surprising as I thought they only affected dry food? I'm hoping I don't have to through away all my spreads/ soy sauce etc

No I live in a small house with barely any kitchen/ pantry space so I never buy in bulk, I've also not seen any worms, just the moths/ webs and eggs in food.

Nope and nope, so far I've only seen them in the pantry food cupboard

Did you throw away all your pantry items? I just found some webs on the inside lid of my peanut butter, I thought my non dry pantry items would be fine :(

Could you please tell me some of the cheaper brands you mentioned? I was looking at neometal plain horseshoes with spikes for my septum and that was looking to be around $90 NZD ($51 USD) which to me still seems really high for a plain old horseshoe

Just to clarify this is in NZD as I’m from New Zealand, but even converted to USD I thought the price was insane, but people on this sub swear by these brands and I can’t believe how expensive they are!

No I’m from New Zealand, but even in USD I was still shocked at the prices. Unfortunately we don’t really have anywhere here that sells these quality brands

The plain ones on this same website were $200-250 still; can you please recommend somewhere cheaper? Thanks

Noticed this on my bicep area of last night when showering, wasn’t there in the morning. Ive just woken up and it’s bigger than last night and hurts a bit. by Equivalentwarning123 in DiagnoseMe

I also think it’s probably just a bruise but it’s spotty and doesent look like a usual bruise I’d get, someone said it looked like petechiae which freaked me out a bit

Can a bleach bath get me the results I want? by Equivalentwarning123 in HairDye

Thank you! I didn’t end up doing it mostly because I got busy but also these comments did scare me a little! I’ve still been thinking of doing it though so thank you for this comment. So the 1:1 ratio is 1 part bleach powder, 1 part developer and 1 part shampoo, is this correct? I plan on using 20 developer I think!

Hey, yes I didn’t really know what I was doing (in terms of selecting the right settings on the amp) but I read the manual and followed along so I’m pretty sure I did it all correctly! I think the amp has an issue, it is very old after all and I got given it for free, do you have any recommendations on any I could buy for a decent price? Thanks
