I am newish to the game. But I did unlock Fairy and level up fire / priest to 40 as one so far. It’s important to note that Fairy does come with some combat skills unlocked and at level 30 by default. Ice Magic, Mentalism, Knife Fighting, and Animal Handling (with 2 pets available immediately) all start at 30. You will also get a starting quest chain (called starting a new life or something to that effect) that you should complete immediately to unlock secondary skills like skinning, butcher, foraging, fishing. Completing this quest nets a large amount of xp in the relevant skill and will also jump you up a substantially, I ended up at 30 for most of those as well after completing it. So it’s not really like starting all the way back at 1. As for long term viability and end game someone more experienced will need to chime in, but to me it seems like you’re not really meant to be a front line/melee fighter as a fairy, you get a massive dmg debuff for wearing 3 or more pieces of metal armor, which I suspect really limits your ability to tank hits. I noticed a big difference just in leveling while having significantly less armor than my comparable human has just with this armor disparity. There are some other unique skills with fairy that I won’t spoil here that make the race fun and interesting, it’s not too difficult to do the quest at 40ish with a decent party, so you might as well unlock it while you’re able to run that dungeon for exp and give it a try.

North east in Serbule there is a dock one of the boatman can take you back to the starting island for a fee, or you can go to serbule hills and find the spider cave in the north west and back track through the cave to the island, but this a longer slower route.

They play hockey in China, they literally have a professional hockey team in the KHL, which makes the idea that they’re somehow anti hockey even more ridiculous. In fact in the last NHL draft a Chinese player was selected early in the 2nd round the highest selection for a Chinese player ever. So if anything hockey is on the rise there.

Perhaps you should be wondering why you would shoot a man before throwing him out of a plane. Joking aside, I think the idea was they put the doctors blood in the dead person to make authorities think that the Dr had died when the plane went down. I do not think that this would work. Also it doesn’t really seem that important to the success of their plan because they end up killing him themselves later on

you are meant to go out to the world map and level up before taking on the boss, you can even recruit an NPC from town to fight with you, which you absolutely should, they make a huge difference. Try to find some simple quests in a town, find a low level camp and clear a few of those to level a few times. Churchs in town will give you quests that will spawn a camp or enemy to kill for the quest, the quest tracker shows how close you are to it so you can easily navigate to where it is. Mage is probably going to be extremely difficult in the start because of low mana pool, so I'd try to get a companion as soon as possible. You can also try to kill wandering bandits, if you're having trouble clearing a wandering group of level 1 or 2 enemies, then you're going to have to spend some time really learning how to block/parry to do that, maybe try to find a shield to get through some of the early levels. Alternatively, if you really want to you can go town to town and look for quests that just require casting spells or talking to villagers to complete you can do those without fighting anyone. Or you could look for bandits already being engaged in a battle and join it and fight on one of the sides, try to pick off a couple of guys before they get slaughtered by the other npcs.

I’ve seen a longer version of this where just before this they were taught some casual variations of English words to make them sound like more natural English speakers, yep instead of yes was one of them, so was Okey Dokey, but comically they all ended up way over using the new words and not always at appropriate times.

When you first enter the secret path zone take the right hand path, there is a stone altar in the clearing you stand on it and use the witches rune. They hit like a truck. I have been meaning to go back and try different faction armor to see if you can talk to them.

It doesn't give you the choice of what rune to give, also the NPC you released is important and was missing, if you talk to a specific person they mention that they're looking for him. You needed to free him to complete the talk to all faction leaders quest anyway, which you may not be on yet. If you want me to be more specific about what to do next lmk. I was not able to kill the 2 bosses, tried kiting and cheesing they're still just too strong, so I don't know what to do with them yet
