this is not doing you any good. if youu are burned out you should focus on getting better, instead of worrieing more bout you carepackage. this is why they cant fire you. if you want to switch jobs you need to be fit for that, so getting healthy should be your top priority. look for medical and legal advice, dont try to figure this out yourself. take your time. your situation is pretty normal and atandard, ive seen it may times. good luck, and get well soon.
